The right time for Tobago's autonomy is now under the Tobago People's Party .
This from political leader Farley Augustine while the leader of the PNM Tobago Council Ancil Dennis is saying a vote for the PNM is a vote for increased visitor arrivals in Tobago.
Both men spoke during political meetings on Saturday. More from Elizabeth Williams.

00:00Tobago, we have no better time than now, because by the time we get to 2030, none of the Trinidad parties might actually need Tobago two seats or care about Tobago two seats.
00:16In fact, let me tell you, if ever they could get to 21, any of the parties, without Tobago two seats, you have no negotiating power whatsoever.
00:27Mr. Augustin speaking in WIM on Saturday said the people of Tobago must assess the performance of the PNM.
00:35They could cut the number of flights if they want, but this is election season and the power is back in your hands and you have to do an assessment of their performance.
00:46I want you to assess the performance and I want you to grade them with a big fat F, not F for fally, but F for failure in the PNM and vote them out on the 28th of April.
01:03PNM Tobago Council political leader Ansel Dennis, speaking during a PNM political meeting in Charlotteville on Saturday, said a vote for the PNM means increased tourist arrivals for Tobago.
01:15And when you bring all of those projects together, the airport capable of 3 million passengers per year, those two hotels, Marriott and Sandals, the marina, we have the two fast ferries moving between the two islands and eradicating every problem that we had on the seabridge.
01:39That will mean a significant increase.
01:45Currently, you probably have just a few people walking through Charlotteville coming from destinations across the world.
01:53And I'm saying within two years of re-electing the PNM into government, that number will move from tens to thousands of tourists passing through Charlotteville.

02:09Nice.
