00:00Welcome back to another Luanti mod review. Today we are looking at the horror mod.

00:08Have you ever found yourself, you know, doing what you do and thought yourself,

00:22Well, if that's the case, this isn't quite going to do that, sorry.

00:28But also, you might want to check this mod out.

00:32So, let's go into the dark spooky caves.

00:36And you'll notice I've put lights out here, you know.

00:39So, we're fairly safe because it's light.

00:46Well, that's no good. I need someplace dark.

00:59We'll go stand in the dark. It's spooky dark.

01:03It's actually not because there's a torch right there.

01:14So, we'll just, you know, do our thing. Mine a little Cabo.

01:17I don't know why we would be mining in the darkness like this because, yeah, I've got six torches on me.

01:36Um, so yeah. If you were ever to decide that you wanted to go into the darkness, there's little whistle things.

02:09Uh, the amount of darkness actually doesn't matter particularly much.

02:14Like in the surrounding areas.

02:17So, I took a peek at the code.

02:19And, uh, it pretty much just checks if you're in a light level under two.

02:23Which, we're definitely in a light level under two.

02:26And then it just does some randomness.

02:29Uh, multiplayer compatible.

02:31So, it'll just collect a list of players.

02:34Randomly selects a player every x amount of seconds.

02:38Which might be a random value as well, to some extent.

02:43And then, uh...

02:48Then there's supposed to be scariness.

02:51And it's not...

02:53It's definitely not very scary right now.

02:55So, to remedy that, maybe we should change it to night time.

03:02So, as we can tell, it's clearly daylight right now.

03:06And, uh, the spooks come out at night time and in dark places.

03:14From what I've seen...

03:17We're just getting it to time to zero.

03:20From what I've seen, they'll come out at night time regardless of the light.

06:28Theoretically, if you get far enough away, you won't hear it at all.

10:01And for the most part, you're largely unaffected.

10:23So every single time a spook event happens...
