Skinsdb adds an easy way for you to change your player skin, or for players on a server to change their skins. It only ships with a few skins, but supports MC 1.0 and 1.8 skins so you can easily add more.
02:19My... My... My livelihood is gone. I've got nothing but the sk... The clothes on my back.
02:27And they're all ragged. And torn. I must... I must survive. I must build. And... Find some cotton.
02:36Oh, right there. Now I can make new clothes. Except, uh, actually, you can't, because it just adds skins, not clothes.
02:42And this might seem like it's, uh, it's a bit low. Like, I only get this.
02:48This mod supports the, uh, Minecraft skins from, uh, format or version 1 and 1.8.
02:56I don't know what the differences are between those. I don't play Minecraft.
02:58But if you do have skins from Minecraft, they can be ported over and thrown in.
03:03And basically, all you need to do is provide the skin file itself, of course.
03:07And then a preview image, which would be this one here.
03:10The raw texture, it automatically grabs it. So you don't need to worry about that one.
03:14And then you can provide, but I don't believe it's required to have a name, an author, and a license.
03:23Um, I've seen this on some servers.
03:25And I was trying to find one for this video that had, like, pages upon pages upon pages.
03:30Um, but I don't know of any servers offhand that have it.
03:33Um, but basically, you'll just get a button down here and a button down here to go forwards and back.
03:37And then I think it tells you, uh, like a page count.
03:41Or maybe it's a count of skins and which skins you're viewing.
03:46Um, so you can see, but yeah, I've seen it with hundreds and hundreds.
03:49And you can spend a lot of time just clicking through and, yeah, picking different ones to select what you would like.
03:55Um, it also supports, if you are using this on a server, which, uh, it kind of, in single player, I don't know how much it really matters if you're not going to see it anyways.
04:06Um, but if you're using it on a server, it also supports doing the skins per player.
04:11So, let's say you have a player named, oh, I don't know, Bob.
04:15You could put a texture into this mod's directory.
04:21Um, I think it's just called Bob.
04:25Bob, then, um, does it say, um, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
04:32I don't know, is that, da, da, da, da.
04:40Um, okay, so it looks like you would be doing player underscore Bob.
04:47And then you could potentially even do underscore one, underscore two, underscore three, so you have skins that only Bob can access and he can change between them.
04:55Or if you only have a single one, that's the only one.
04:58Now, I'm assuming, but did not test, that if I did have a skin called Bob, I could still select any other skins as well.
05:08But I would only be the only person available to select Bob.
05:15I believe.
05:15Um, but yeah, that's, that's kind of it.
05:20There's really not too much to say about this.
05:24It just lets you add custom skins to players in the game.
05:28So, yeah, there you go.

05:35I don't believe this is actually on the content database as of currently.
05:41No, it does not look like it is on the content database.
05:43So, you do just have to manually download and install, which is no big deal.
05:47All those links will be on my website, which will be linked down in the video description below.
