You can get unlimited items by creating an item replicator, the base unit is pretty slow, but you can upgrade it, twice. The upgrade process entails cooking the item replicator, and it will take some time to do that.

00:00Welcome back to another Luan Team Mod review. Today we are looking at the item replicator mod.
00:06And as the name suggests, this mod lets you replicate things.
00:10So let's start with the craft recipe. We're going to need one doyman block.
00:17And then four meese blocks to surround it. And that'll give us an item replicator.
00:21And we can switch between red and green by just crafting it.
00:25However, I have noticed that that really doesn't matter because when you place them, they'll change colors on you.
00:36I'm not going to place this one right now. Oh, actually, no, I can. It doesn't matter then.
00:41Because I can just break it by hand. So it stays red there.
00:44But notice this one's red. As soon as I put something into it to start replicating, such as this lump of coal, it changes to green.
00:51So I don't really know what the difference in color is.
00:54I do want to replicate some mushrooms, though. So let me, not the poisonous ones, I just...
01:00Am I going crazy? I could have sworn I've seen some brown mushrooms out here.
01:09Okay, then. I guess we're not replicating... Oh, wait, there one is.
01:14I need this mushroom for science.
01:17Alright, we have a mushroom. Let's start replicating mushrooms.
01:22So you'll find... Oh, you know what? I think actually I see where they were at.
01:26Let's take that out of here. We don't need any more coal. We need mushrooms.
01:30I think they were back here.
01:32Well, anyways, it doesn't matter. We have the replicators running.
01:36Now you might notice, wow, this is kind of slow.
01:39And it kind of is. However, I mean, you're getting it for nothing.
01:42So I don't really know that we can complain about slowness.
01:46But if we are going to complain about slowness.
01:48My friends, let me introduce you to the upgraded versions.
01:52So we have the normal, I guess, slow version.
01:56I mean, I know these all come in the two colors, but they seem to change colors when they are active or not.
02:03But so, if we want to upgrade this to the replicator V2, and there's a V3 as well,
02:13we actually just throw it in a furnace.
02:16And it takes 400 seconds to cook.
02:18So we are going to go ahead and place an item replicator in there, and then put a bunch of coal in.
02:23And I guess we wait 400 seconds, which is, what, six, almost seven minutes.
02:34So we're going to burn through a lot of coal lumps.
02:38I hope I have enough.
02:40And that's why I have my replicator here replicating more coal.
02:45So, sometimes it gets a little funky like that, where it won't let me put the items out.
02:51I'm going to go ahead and actually start up another one, although I know for a fact I will not have enough coal for that.
02:59So that's unfortunate.
02:59However, it's not really because, yeah, that's right, I'm cheating.
03:05I'm using the give commands.
03:07All right, so we still have barely anything going there.
03:10And really, we just kind of have to sit this out.
03:16All right, there we have it.
03:18It is upgraded.
03:20Woo-hoo!
03:21Oh, it only took nine coal lumps.
03:22That's not too bad.
03:23Let's see about this one.
03:26And that just finished as well.
03:27So, I think what we're going to do is go ahead and cook this one.
03:31Now, I wonder, how long do we have to cook this one?
03:36Is it another 400 seconds?
03:38How did I even find that out?
03:40Oh, here we go.
03:42So, if I go to this, one of these, someplace, there will be the cooking.
03:48Here we go.
03:49500 seconds?
03:51Bro, it's going to take forever.
03:53However, let's go ahead and place one of these.
03:56Now, let's check this out.
03:56So, I got 14 coal, 24 brown mushrooms.
04:00So, not too shabby, not too shabby.
04:03Let's go ahead and throw, you know, let's put a mushroom in there.
04:08Okay, so this...
04:12We'll wait until it's at 100%.
04:15Okay, so it goes to zero.
04:17So, then this is...
04:18This is really not a good way to test this.
04:22This is at 60, 70.
04:23It's supposed to double the speed, but it feels like going a lot more than double.
04:26So, I guess the best way to...
04:31The best way to find out would be to take...
04:35But that didn't work.
04:37I want the mushroom!
04:39Okay, I guess we'll do this.
04:40And we'll take that.
04:41Okay.
04:42And then we'll take these and this.
04:45And we'll take the mushrooms from here.
04:48Okay, so we're...
04:51We have no product.
04:52Now, one thing I do find kind of weird here...
04:55Is that when it has...
04:59Oh, wait.
05:01What?
05:02When you shift click it, it puts it into the output inventory?
05:04That makes no sense.
05:06When it is replicating, it doesn't tell you what it's replicating.
05:09Like, it'll tell you there's nothing when it doesn't have something.
05:12But then, when it does have something, it doesn't tell you what it is.
05:19So, theoretically, when this one gets one, this one should have two.
05:24Or close to it.
05:25I mean, we didn't start at the exact same times.
05:29So, this should pretty much just double of this.
05:34More or less.
05:35I do like that it shows percentage here, so we kind of know where we're at.
05:39Now, we do have some other options we can cycle through here.
05:41So, we make this a public item duplicator, I guess.
05:45Which should allow anybody to take any inventory from it or put inventory into it.
05:51In either section.
05:52Because, as it turns out, this doubles as a chest as well.
05:56Although, then it's going to come to a point where it can no longer duplicate.
06:00But, I suppose that would probably be expected.
06:06Then, we have only use.
06:08So, as it suggests, you're the only one that can access it.
06:13And then, we have members, which we can type members in here.
06:16Now, I don't know how this works with the growing percentage.
06:19So, let's try this out.
06:19Yeah, just as I thought.
06:22This is going to be a problem.
06:24So, say we have a Bob user.
06:27You know, we can't really type Bob in here.
06:31Now, with one that's turned off.
06:36How do we even do this?
06:37Do we just do, like, comma separated?
06:38I wish it would tell you.
06:39Bob, Sam, Sally, Todd, Jeff, Jake, Amanda.
06:48Is that how you spell Amanda?
06:50I, um, Amanda?
06:52I don't think there's an A there.

06:55Uh, yeah, I don't know if they're supposed to be comma separated.

07:05So, that's a bit of an issue.
07:08Now, what if we put something really expensive, like Diamond Block?
07:12Does that replicate at the same speed at which this does?
07:15Well, you know, this does seem to be right.
07:17We have six here.
07:18We have 13 there.
07:20This is still cooking away.
07:21We're only about halfway done.
07:23This is taking some time to go.
07:25So, um, I'm kind of running out of other options to talk about here.
07:31I mean, it looks like this is going at the same speed as...
07:36Yeah, I would say.
07:42Or is it?
07:43It's hard to say.
07:45This is going at 5% increments.
07:48This is going at 1% increments.
07:51Interesting.
07:51So, it does have some sort of a value to speed, I guess we could say.
08:00So, you know, a mushroom, I would say, isn't overly valuable as far as things go.
08:08But Diamond, you know, Diamond's pretty valuable.
08:10And so, we find that, uh, it takes longer to duplicate the Diamond than it does the Mushroom.
08:19Very interesting.
08:20So, I imagine there's a list someplace of the speeds that the items duplicate at.
08:26Yeah, so that is duplicating at double the speed.
08:29But as it turns out, the Diamond block is a lot slower than the Mushrooms, which is just quite interesting.
08:39Well, this is only at 65% and, uh, I'm tired of talking about nothing.
08:43So, we are going to come back when it's done.
08:46All right, well, that was fun.
08:48It finally finished.
08:50So, we have item up, get our V3.
08:53I should have filled this back up to 99, but I think we were at 90.
08:57So, I use 12 Columps this time around.
09:02And, uh, I guess we'll go ahead and put a Mushroom in there, just because we've been doing Mushrooms.
09:07Oh, that's doing 20% out of Crack.
09:09That's pretty good.
09:09Um, Diamonds, yeah, that's pretty slow.
09:14Let's go ahead.
09:19All right, so this isn't really the most fair thing ever because, you know, they're not all starting at zero.
09:26But, uh, it's kind of the best we can do right.
09:29Um, so we've seen this before.
09:31And let's get a little more contrast on the number there.
09:34Going up by 5% at a time.
09:36No big deal.
09:37So, I'm assuming the update's the same on all of them.
09:40So, this actually, uh, is a valuable metric to know.
09:44So, that's going up by 5% in update.
09:46This is going by 10% per update, which is double.
09:50And following with logic, this is going up by 20% per update.
09:53Again, because it is now, uh, a V3, which is 4 times the speed of a single one.
10:01Um, so, following the way math works, if we have 2 here, we should have 4 here, and we should have 8 here.
10:08Um, more or less, yes, that is what we see.
10:12Now, let's see about the whole diamond bit.
10:16So, let's put a diamond block in here.
10:19And the diamond block is now going up at 5% increments.
10:22So, yes, um, I guess I would say that's triple the speed.
10:33I don't know if that's actually the case or not.
10:37I'm wondering about misblocks.
10:38So, this is going up in, like, 3%, but not actually, but it's a close to a 3%.
10:50Um, let's go ahead and put a misblock in this one.
10:54Are these both?
10:54No, yeah, this is a V1, V2, and V3.
11:01Um, of course, I put misblocks in these non-diamond blocks.
11:04Uh, but no, no worries there.
11:07We can just go ahead and take this out.
11:09I'm not really worried about that.
11:11I don't know why it wouldn't let me stack those.
11:13That was kind of weird.
11:17Okay, so we have mis...
11:19Oh, I don't even know why that matters.
11:21These are both doing mis.
11:23This is going up in, like, 2%?
11:26Or 1%, I don't know.
11:27It must be some kind of a half a percentage.
11:30Uh, 1.5%, I guess.
11:32And then it just rounds.
11:33Because we're going 7, then 8, but then we went up 2.
11:36Then we went up 2, but then we only went up 1.
11:38Yeah, I must be doing 1.5%.
11:40Um, yeah, so we can get lots and lots of diamonds.
11:47We just need to be willing to spend lots and lots of time cooking things,
11:50which is kind of icky.
11:53Okay, so we see that this is doing what we thought it would do.
11:58So we put this back to the mushrooms.
12:01We're getting 20% speed.
12:04I don't even know what to call this.
12:07This is going 4 times as fast as a single.
12:11Um, but yeah.
12:12That's, uh, that's pretty much it.
12:15I do think these glow.
12:18Um, I guess we can find out by doing this.
12:21Hey, they do.
12:27A little bit.
12:28And then I assume.
12:31If I can, yep.
12:34Yerp.
12:37Yerp.
12:38Uh, you know, they might actually still be lighting up just the smidgest.
12:47Yeah, they're still lighting up a little bit.
12:49But they definitely light up more when they are active.
12:53What happens if we put a stack of 3 in?
12:55Does it then duplicate 3?
12:57Ooh, this would be...
12:58There's no way it would.
13:00That would be the hugest bug in the world.
13:04It's fast, though, so we're gonna give her a shot.
13:07You know, let's see if we can get some extra apple leaves.
13:10Okay, 80, 85, 90.
13:12Drum roll, please.
13:13And we get one diamond block.
13:16I figured as much.
13:18If we got what we had in the stack,
13:21yeah, that would be...
13:22probably not the desired results.
13:28It would be kind of funny.
13:32But only in a oops kind of way.
13:35Well, there you have it.
13:36The item replicator mod.
13:38It's available for a handful, I think, of different games.
