00:00But right now, we're trying to help out Lance this morning on the 715 Second Date Update.
00:04Went to a great place, Tiki Docks in Riverview.
00:06Beautiful.
00:07But now, they've got a little situation because Lance has not heard back from Jessica since their date.
00:12Yeah, and he said that they had a good conversation while they were on the date.
00:16And nothing was brought up that shouldn't have been brought up.
00:20He's like, there was no awkward conversations we were having.
00:23He's like, I really don't understand, you know, why she's not getting back to me.
00:26Because I walked her to her car and she gave me a hug and told her I wanted to see her again.
00:30All right, so Kevin has tracked down Jessica.
00:32We've got her on hold right now.
00:33I want to bring her on.
00:34Jessica, are you there?
00:36Yeah, I'm here.
00:37Hey, Jessica, thanks so much for talking to Kevin off the air.
00:40And I appreciate you agreeing to come on the air with us.
00:42I don't want to waste too much of your time.
00:44I just want to ask you about this guy, Lance.
00:46Lance told us that you guys went to Tiki Docks in Riverview.
00:49He said you guys had like a really fun conversation.
00:51I guess you guys were joking around about bad first dates and kind of just keeping it light.
00:56And he really thought he connected with you and thought for sure he'd see you again after walking you to your car and giving you a hug goodbye and now has not heard anything and is super confused.
01:06So we were just wondering if we could get some answers from you of what's going on.
01:09What's the deal here?
01:10Well, I mean, he's nice and, you know, he's cute, but I don't think he understands about invasion of privacy.
01:21Do you know what I mean?
01:23Well, I want to know what you mean.
01:24I don't know yet.
01:25What do you mean?
01:26Well, so we were talking about a dog that I had about two years ago.
01:32And I know I have a photo of him, of the dog, and I was going to show him this photo, but I couldn't find it.
01:37So he told me about how, which I never knew about iPhones, how you can look up photos by the year.
01:43Oh, yeah.
01:43Old albums, stuff like that.
01:45Yep.
01:45Yeah, and I never knew about this.
01:46So I handed him my phone so he could help me find this picture by the year.
01:52Right.
01:52But he just started flipping through all my pictures, like looking at all my pictures.
01:57Whoa!
01:58On your phone?
01:58No bueno.
01:59Yeah, yeah.
02:00So, I mean, obviously that wasn't cool, so I grabbed my phone because he doesn't need to be looking through my pictures.
02:06Well, yeah, if you're just scrolling through your stuff, it's a little weird.
02:08Yeah, and he was saying, no, no, no, I'm just trying to show you about the album and how you can search by the year.
02:15So I was like, okay, okay.
02:17So I gave him my phone, but the phone locked, you know, because it's been however long.
02:23And then he wanted my password.
02:26To your phone?
02:29And my social security number.
02:30Oh, my God.
02:30Did you give it to him?
02:32No, I didn't give it to him.
02:34I mean, I grabbed my phone back and unlocked the phone myself, but I'm going to give him my password.
02:40So then he showed me what he was trying to show me about the albums and the years.
02:44And, you guys, he started scrolling my pictures again.
02:49Well, you didn't learn the first time that he was going to do that or what?
02:52Well, I mean, I was kind of interested about how to do these pictures because I really love this picture of my dog, you know?
02:58Yeah.
02:58But I just, I thought that was a little too much.
03:02I think so.
03:03I would agree with you.
03:04Yeah, you know, you shouldn't be going through people's phones.
03:06I get it.
03:06And so you just thought that was just way too much as far as, like, privacy goes.
03:10Like, that was a lack of respect, and that's the reason you're not getting back to him.
03:12Oh, for sure.
03:14Yeah.
03:15All right.
03:15Well, he wanted to know, and we actually have Lance on the phone with us, Jessica.
03:20Okay.
03:21Lance.
03:22You can't be asking someone their password for their phone.
03:25You a little bit of a snoop or what?
03:27No, no, no, no.
03:29I've got to, I'm not a snoop, but I've got to admit, like, she sounds pretty sketchy, right?
03:35Like, sketchy.
03:37Jessica, do you hear yourself?
03:38Like, you're talking about hiding things and keeping stuff secret.
03:42Like, what is that?
03:45This is a first date, Lance.
03:47I mean, you don't need to know about my privacy.
03:51This is a first date.
03:52I mean, I'm not being sketchy when it comes to privacy.
03:55I just, I don't know.
03:56Like, I don't, I don't see what the big deal is.
03:59Like, every relationship I've ever been in, you know, my, my partners have had my password.
04:04I've had, I've had their password.
04:05Like, I just, you know, I feel like you, you're like, you've got something to hide.
04:10And in my experience, if somebody has something to hide from the get-go, they'll always have something to hide.
04:14Well, dude, she just met you, though.
04:16Yeah, she's got a lot to hide.
04:17She's not going to tell you everything or show you everything in her phone.
04:20She doesn't know you.
04:21I mean, yeah, but I didn't know her either.
04:23But if the tables were to turn, like, like, no problem.
04:26I would have happily given her my password, you know?
04:28What?
04:29No, you wouldn't.
04:30Yeah, what?
04:31People don't give out their passwords on their phones.
04:33If I handed it to her and it locked and she needed to, if she was going to show me something on my phone, of course I'd let her.
04:39Of course I'd give it to her.
04:41Like, no problem.
04:43Jessica, well, I think it's a big deal to you, right?
04:46Uh, yeah, for real.
04:47That's crazy.
04:49And why, I mean, why do you want to check my photos?
04:51Well.
04:52I don't know.
04:52I was interested in finding out more about you.
04:54And we were looking at photos anyway.
04:56Yeah, but that's what you do with your words.
04:59Like, right in front of you.
05:01Yeah, but a picture's worth a thousand words.
05:03They're right there.
05:03You know, like, she gave me her phone.
05:05All right, well, Lance, you need to be okay with not going through her stuff.
05:08I mean, obviously.
05:10Jessica, if Lance agreed not to do that, would you be willing to go on a date with him?
05:14Or do you feel like this is going to be an issue?
05:16I think this is going to be an issue.
05:17I mean, if he's going to be nosy now, I mean, what's he going to be like in, like, a month or two?
05:23This sounds like really sensitive and sketchy behavior, and I don't know that I want to do a second date anymore.
05:28I just, I feel like she's going to be high for something.
05:31All right, well, then I guess I don't have to ask Jessica, Lance, if that's what you're feeling now.
05:35You're not interested in.
05:37I just can't believe how, like, weirdly resistant and secretive she's being about stuff.
05:42Wow.
05:43All right.
05:43Well, Jessica, this is a deal breaker for you?
05:47Yeah, for real.
05:48Okay.
05:48And Lance, I think you're agreeing, too, that maybe not the best idea for you guys to go out?
05:52Wow.
05:52Yeah.
05:53All right.
05:54Well, guys, you take care.
05:55Lance, you got an answer.
05:56Jessica, thank you for your time this morning.
05:58You guys have a great day, okay?
06:01You're welcome.
06:02Sorry it didn't work out.
06:03Yeah, I mean, I understand.
06:05If you hand someone your phone, that's one thing.
06:07Like, to say, hey, listen, you need to help me with this album.
06:09But I think she was thinking, like, oh, yeah, just go to this, go to settings.
06:12Like, I do on your phone.
06:13Like, hey, I'm going to go to settings.
06:14You got to do this.
06:15And you show them what you're doing so that they can cover their phone if there was something.
06:19But to ask for a password?
06:20What are we doing here?
06:21Yeah.
06:21I mean, we've all been working together for, what, three years?
06:25I have no idea what your passwords are.
06:27We know yours.
06:28But it's okay.
06:28No, I'm kidding.
06:29We don't.
06:29But no, you're right.
06:30But it's still a little privacy thing because you have bank stuff and all that in there.
06:34Everything's on your phone.
06:35Yeah.
06:36Yeah.
06:36Because at first, I go, this is kind of a dumb reason not to go back out again.
06:39But now when she said it, like, I'm seeing this, like, how this would be down the road.
06:43That would be a big thing if someone's, like, always kind of over your shoulder.
06:46Why are you giving me your password?
06:47I don't know.
06:48I want to know what you think, though.
06:49800-992-1099.
06:51800-992-1099.
