00:22the Year odds are a reflection of the fact that Jared McCain

00:25who was the favorite before going down with a season-ending

00:28injury that opened things up for all of these guys and it's

00:31been a strange year for rookies and it's been a lot of

00:33fluctuation with who's the favorite who isn't and Kalil

00:36where being a guy kind of coming out of nowhere. I think

00:38that's kind of making up for lost time and that new lineup

00:41that you talked about and how well he's looked next to Bam

00:44out of Bayou in that front court. Ultimately, I do think

00:46Stephon Castle is the favorite for good reason. He's having

00:49a big role with the Spurs and it's fluctuated a little bit

00:52as well with the addition of De'Aaron Fox, but he's been

00:55very impactful. We saw what he's capable of during All-Star

00:58Weekend winning rookie game MVP and also having a chance

01:01to take the floor alongside some All-Stars of turning heads

01:04in the dunk contest as well. So the narrative side of it

01:06in a weird year, I think benefits Stephon Castle.
