He is however hoping to end on a high, and avoid a whitewash...

00:00The West Indies suffered a 27-run loss to Bangladesh in the second T20
00:04international in St. Vincent which saw the Tigers clinching the series.
00:07Windies skipper Ravvan Powell is once again unhappy with the way they batted.
00:11Yeah, yeah, definitely. It has become something of major concern now. We have to keep on over the same duration of the games, make the same mistakes, you know, it's something that needs rectifying at the moment.
00:23While the wicket did have its challenges, Powell says there cannot be any excuses
00:28for not reaching the target set by the opposition. I think it had a little bit more in it for the bowlers to be honest, you know, but having said that, not being able to chase 129 is not good, not good enough at this level.
00:41Many were expecting a couple changes for the second game following the 7-run loss in the opener. That did not happen. So what was the reason?
00:49I think you have to show faith and courage in guys, you know, keep chopping and changing won't be the answer.
00:54You know, it's guys playing and making mistakes and learning from those mistakes. You know, it's just a case of us trying and hoping that guys don't make the same mistakes over and over.
01:04The last game is on Thursday at the same venue from 8pm. Even though the West Indies will be playing for pride, Powell is urging fans to support the team.
01:12Yeah, yeah, definitely. We can't fault the people of St Vincent. They have been very good to us, you know, they have been very good to us.
01:18And you know, they need to, they need a win, you know, and I'll try to rally my boys to see how best we can come out Thursday and fight for them.
01:25The West Indies have now lost three consecutive bilateral T20 series, with Sri Lanka and England also defeating the men in Maroon.
