00:00Trainwagonite riders have jumped to the top of the CPL standings after beating
00:05Barbados Royals by seven wickets in Taruba. TKR skipper Nicholas Puran was
00:09delighted with the way his team approached the innings in pursuit of 179
00:14for victory. We can ask for anything better. Coming home we know we know what
00:18we're going to expect. Today we faced a challenge where we felt like
00:23Barbados batted really nicely but our bowlers kept us in a game where we felt
00:27like that was pass score. They did our they did their job and we felt like as batsmen
00:31we had to take responsibility and get it done so very proud of the guys. Puran was pleased with
00:36his knock of 65 not out embellished with one four and six maximums and he's urging his troops to be
00:42consistent if they are to attain glory. Yeah it's about it's about time right now I just felt like
00:48this is the right time to you know get into the tournament obviously it's a really crucial time
00:52for us our home leg and we want to continue with this momentum you know every game from here is
00:57very important and we just want to continue to get better and in order for us to again be successful
01:02at the end everyone has to contribute and do their jobs. Opposite number Ravman Powell was satisfied
01:06with his team's total after the first innings was up but the Barbados Royals now have three losses
01:12and one new result from four matches. I think it's been it's been a difficult start you know I think
01:18Trinidad is a difficult team to play at home you know I haven't said that I think from a batting
01:23standpoint you batted fairly well you know and at the halfway mark we think 170 is definitely going
01:28to put the Trinidadians under some trouble. The next game for the Barbados Royals is against
01:33Guyana-Amazon Warriors on Thursday in Bridgetown. We know it now on the Chiefs of Sport.
