00:16TNTech, a state enterprise that has been known for years as one of the best-run state enterprises,
00:25regardless to whichever administration is in power.
00:29No pun intended.
00:31That you have increased your own capacity and have seen you creep, walk and now you are running at a
00:38pace that I think will serve our nation very well.
01:30Over the last year, TNTech has shared with me that they have been able to fix the highest amount of
01:41streetlights that were defective across Trindad and Tobago.
01:45Over 26,000 defective streetlights.
01:50Out of that, almost 3,000 was on the highways alone.
02:05But while we get an influx of interest of investment in the country that will depend largely on a power
02:13supply, it must mean then that we must upgrade our systems.
02:24The power purchase agreements will come, some of them, not all of them.
02:28The ones, I believe it's Trinity Power, PowerGen, those come up for renegotiating in 2029.
02:35So those negotiations will start very shortly.
02:39The general manager of TNTech will chair those deliberations together with several other ministries that are involved.
02:46Essentially, they will look at the power purchase agreements to make sure that Trindad and Tobago gets the best buck
02:51out of those arrangements,
02:54but also that there is sufficient power being manufactured onto the grid.
02:59They will reveal that the electrification of the street.
03:01They will forget to speak to you for the best approaches to make sure that now that this is a
03:02relate-tove-to-to-to-to-to-to.
03:02And then, it is decided that it is better.
03:02It is truly a real state-to-to-be-to-to-to-to.
03:02It is a real-to-be-to-to-to-to-to, to-to-the-to-to-to.
03:03It is meant that this is a real place to the right-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to
03:03-to-to.
03:03It is true that the other little morts will come together with the water.
03:03It will never forget about that it, but it's helped.
