00:11A TTPS media release indicated that officers of the Northern Division Task Force were conducting several exercises and surveillance in the division.
00:19Police say they were monitoring a blue Toyota Soluna heading north along Subaru Street in Malabar.
00:25The driver attempted to evade police, but was eventually intercepted.
00:29Upon searching the vehicle, police found 37 packages of marijuana weighing some 19.2 kilograms
00:37with an estimated street value of $565,000.
00:43Later in the operation, the team received further information which led them to an abandoned structure on Marie Street in Calvary, Arima
00:51where they discovered a revolver containing five rounds of ammunition.

01:09According to police reports, the 59-year-old victim went to bed on Sunday and was awoken around midnight when her dog started barking.

01:28entered her bedroom and robbed her of her money and her jewellery.

02:06All she could tell was that the bandits spoke Spanish.
02:09A licensed firearm, hundreds of thousands of dollars in T.T.U.S. and Canadian currency and all of her jewellery were taken.

02:28Jagisar says the bandits took all of her keys so she remained locked in her home from that time
02:34until her signals and shouts through a window were heard by a neighbour who got up around 6 a.m.

02:43A 37-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed in Santa Cruz on Monday in yet another home invasion.
02:52The latest incident took place around 8 a.m. along Sun Valley Extension.
02:56Police say the woman was walking towards her car, which was parked in her front yard,
03:00when she was confronted by two masked men.
03:03One of the men was said to be holding a firearm.
03:06Both suspects then took the victim inside of her home, tied her hands and feet with masking tape and electric cords
03:13and proceeded to ransack the premises.
03:17The suspect stole several items of value, including two laptops, an iPad and a Nintendo Switch,
03:22before they entered the woman's Prado and drove off.
03:25The victim was eventually able to free herself and notify the police.
03:29The Prado was later recovered in the Port of Spain area.
