00:00Hello and welcome to another video, today I'll be unboxing this, this is a DVD game.
00:10Let's open this up and have a look.
00:13I've already cut the top off just in advance so it's easier to get into.
00:19Here we go, it's this one.
00:31And here's number two.
00:33So this is Swansong.
00:36Here's the two cases.
00:38As you can see it's a game DVD.
00:41It's basically what this is, they all have different names.
00:43DVD games, TV games, DVD-PG.
00:49Basically what they are, they're simple games you can get used for example for visual novels.
00:54They basically use the basic menu functionality of a DVD player
00:59to allow you to play games on the DVD player without having to buy an actual games console.
01:04So of course using the menus function of a DVD you can play videos and do simple stuff,
01:09jump between different areas but you don't really get much control.
01:12That's why it's pretty much only used for visual novels and that type of game because you can't really do much.
01:19So as you can see, this one is in live action.
01:24Looks to be some sort of mystery game of some sort.
01:28Looks like it was sold for 5,500 yen.
01:3369 aspect ratio.
01:38Let's look at the other one.
01:40That one's got nothing, it's just the image of the case.
01:43So imagine these were probably sold together based on that.
01:47Something like this.
01:49Gives you all the information on the back of the pile.
01:53So I'm going to guess this one is sort of first then.
01:58Let's open it up.
02:00001, disc C.
02:05So imagine the other one must be first then.
02:10There we go, we've got discs B and disc A.
02:17It's a bit of an interesting layout for the second disc.
02:21Weird ridge there.
02:25So of course these are different coloured versions of the discs.
02:29So imagine it would tell you which part of the disc or which disc to swap out once you reach the part you need to swap.
02:37So in this one we do have the manual.
02:42So it looks like we've got controls here.
02:45Looks like there's some sort of quick time events or something like that.
02:50And we can input a password to save.
02:54Imagine they somehow figured how to use that with a menu.
03:00But that's all I can really show.
03:03In the future I might do a playthrough, try playing the game.
