00:00Hello and welcome to another video. Today I'll be trying this. This is Woolworths brand white
00:05cooking chocolate. I thought I'd get this just to give you my opinions as to what it is like
00:10compared to regular white chocolate whether this which is significantly cheaper is just as good
00:16or a reasonable substitute for just white chocolate to eat. This is $2.50 for a bar. A bar is
00:23200 grams
00:23so that means 5 times $2.50 is $12.50 for a kilo which $12.50 for white chocolate does
00:32seem reasonably cheap.
00:33Of course if you get for example just normal milk chocolate or dark chocolate the cooking
00:39chocolate versions of that are significantly cheaper than this but this is more of like a premium
00:46cooking chocolate I guess although it is still store brand. So I'll open this up give it a bit of
00:52taste and say whether it's any good and whether it's comparable to regular white chocolate.
01:00It is Rainforest Alliance certified but I'm not sure exactly what you have to use to actually get
01:06that whether it's actually any good what means is going to be good quality or
01:10whether anyone actually benefits from that alliance.
01:20So it certainly looks like white chocolate the right colour.
01:29Bit hard to break off because compared to what I'm used to with a normal chocolate bar it's quite thick
01:37and these little pieces the actual part to break is quite thick but you can sort of get through that.
01:44There's no writing on top some brands put decorations or writing or something like that on top.
01:50Let's take a bite of this.
01:58It tastes pretty much exactly like white chocolate.
02:07Yeah it just tastes like white chocolate.
02:09I'm just comparing it to the last time I had white chocolate in my head which would be
02:12one of those little Easter bunnies that you get and I feel like those have a stronger taste but that
02:18might just be because it's like a thinner piece of chocolate so either way it melts or something
02:22like that it is.
02:23Well then it's still having more flavour so this tastes in a slightly
02:26less stronger taste but it definitely tastes like white chocolate.
02:30So if you just wanted some white chocolate you could certainly use this and I'm sure
02:33if you're using it with other foods to sort of make something it'd be good for that.
