00:10 makes his return to the National Football League after nearly a decade

00:15 in Ann Arbor back at his alma mater after leading the Wolverines to a

00:20 national championship back atop the mountaintop in college football in

00:24 2023, Harbaugh is now going to the NFL. He will be the new head coach of

00:31 the Los Angeles Chargers. Adam Schefter reporting yesterday a five year deal

00:36 for the Michigan man to make his return to the National Football League

00:40 where he spent four seasons, 2011 to 2014 at the helm of the San Francisco

00:46 49ers. Donnie Jim Harbaugh has won at every level, FCS, FBS, and in the

00:52 National Football League. He is now the new head coach in Los Angeles of

00:56 this Bolts organization. Yeah, and I think you got the best head coach

01:00 available on the open market here when you take a look at the Chargers now.

01:04 And this is something that you can sell your fan base on. One of those teams

01:07 that's like, okay, we're in San Diego, but we're going to move up to LA.

01:09 We're going to be second fiddle in the building here. How do you restructure

01:12 yourself? We got a lot of talent in the building, but you just haven't won

01:15 here. It's still a Rams town at this point. Why? Because quite frankly,

01:18 they're the better football team right now and have won a Super Bowl.

01:21 But now you get Jim Harbaugh to try to add some cachet. The one thing we

01:24 always know about the Chargers, it's never been about the players, Ben.

01:28 We've never sat back and like, man, this is a terrible organization that can't

01:31 bring in talent and players don't want to play there. They get players by

01:34 the bushel. It's always just been, come on, who are the head coaches?

01:38 You're like Anthony Lynn can't get us over the top. Who are we bringing in

01:41 at this point? Well, now it's Jim Harbaugh. The expectations have risen.

01:44 Why? Because you're right. He wins everywhere he goes. You take a look at

01:48 him at Stanford, even before that, at the University of San Diego,

01:51 University of Michigan at the 49ers, which even though we know he didn't win

01:55 a Super Bowl, but take a look at those four years, 13 and 3, 11, 4 and 1, 12

01:59 and 4, 8 and 8, and then off to college football here. You're finally getting

02:03 stability in that franchise. And I love the fact that the Spanos family, known

02:06 for one of those families that medals in a lot of decisions here, is probably

02:10 going to be more hands off, which is a great thing for them. They have their

02:13 quarterback, they have their head coach. Now it's time to win.
