00:00The Giants here, do you think they just don't like Scadaboo or worried about the injury?
00:07Harbaugh wants his own guy.
00:09They are now aggressively connected to the running back position here.
00:13Well, what did I tell you, Kevin?
00:15I told you if there's one coach that is enamored with the rushing attack, it's John Harbaugh.
00:21And he showcased that when they took Derrick Henry for the Ravens offense, right?
00:26And it's just funny and ironic that when they had the number one seed in the playoffs, they didn't utilize
00:32the rushing attack.
00:33But that's for a different story and a different conversation.
00:38But we know that Harbaugh wants to establish the line of scrimmage.
00:42And what's a young quarterback's best friend?
00:44It's the rushing attack.
00:45We're seeing a changing of the guard in the NFL.
00:49We no longer want to spread defenses out five wide and throw it all over the yard.
00:55We want to sustain time of possession, run the football, and preserve our defense.
01:00And that's what John Harbaugh wants to do.
01:03And you have a running back that you and I interviewed at the Super Bowl just a couple of years
01:08ago.
01:09And he is one of a kind.
01:11He is a Saquon Barkley type of running back.
01:14He can catch the football out of the backfield.
01:16He can hurdle.
01:17He has athleticism.
01:18He has vision.
01:19He has power.
01:21He has yards after catch.
01:22You name it, Jeremiah Love is that type of running back.
01:26And he's done it against elite competition, not just in the regular season, but in the
01:31college football playoff.
01:32I mean, he is a game changer.
01:35And I think he's a top five overall selection.
01:38So this is all a lot.
01:41Okay.
01:42And again, I want to get to the Love piece of it.
01:44This is, you know, look, Joe was on it.
01:47And just sometimes when he's on it, he's on it.
01:49And it happens in, you know, in mysterious ways.
01:52But this is what I'm struggling with.
01:54I think Jeremiah Love is better than Cam Scadaboo.
01:57Everybody does.
01:58Okay.
01:59Do I think Kenneth Walker is better than Cam Scadaboo?
02:02I mean, he's won a Super Bowl MVP.
02:04Sure.
02:05Do I think it is worth either drafting Jeremiah Love or paying Ken Walker legitimate money when Cam Scadaboo
02:15had, I thought, Joe, a very impressive rookie season.
02:20We know that if you can get high-level cheap running back production, you know, don't look
02:26a gift horse in the mouth.
02:28Like, I don't understand.
02:31I've said this a few times.
02:32I promise I am not trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.
02:34I really think there's something there.
02:36I do not feel that Harbaugh is showing up here in New York and making things smooth.
02:42That is my belief.
02:43I do not have a strong indication he loves Jackson Dart.
02:46And now, like, why would he not like Cam Scadaboo?
02:51Like, Joe, you know this, Joe.
02:53We're here locally.
02:54That's the guy.
02:55They love Cam Scadaboo.
02:57Why are we dying to turn him into, like, a third down back?
03:01What is that?
03:02Well, I think it's twofold.
03:05I saw reports, and I don't know how true they are.
03:08Oh, boy.
03:09He was hinted at retirement, Scadaboo.
03:12Again, I don't know.
03:14Again, when we talk.
03:16Here's this, though.
03:17Seriously.
03:18When you have a running back that had a significant injury, right?
03:21And it's similar, you could say, to the Robert Edwards injury back almost 25, 30 years ago,
03:27where he got hurt after a Pro Bowl season, when you dislocate the leg in that aspect, it's a very
03:33difficult rehab.
03:34And if you are not running with confidence and you're not running with that type of energy or physicality, your
03:41game changes.
03:42So, I don't know where Cam Scadaboo is, you know, at the rehab level, meaning where he is for progression
03:51to make it for week number one.
03:53But maybe that's another reason why Harbaugh is coming in and saying he doesn't want to wait.
03:58He wants to take the young guy that's coming out of Notre Dame that could completely transform that offense and
04:05will deal with it.
04:06And when Cam comes back, two is better than one.
