00:00Joe, one check-in, though, that we will probably have to do a few times
00:05and it'll feel a bit silly to have to do is George Pickens and the Dallas Cowboys
00:12because here we go again, right?
00:16You know, the joke is that Jerry saw just how good Pickens was
00:20and most teams would go, oh, no, we're going to have to figure out this contract.
00:24And Jerry was so excited to drag another contract situation out
00:29into July, maybe even August.
00:32They've hit Pickens with the franchise tag, Joe.
00:35What do you make of this situation in Dallas?
00:40Intriguing.
00:40It wouldn't be Dallas if we didn't have an off-the-field situation with contracts, right?
00:45So to your point, this is what it's all about.
00:48Now, here's the thing, though.
00:50They hit him with a franchise tag.
00:52But I think at this point he's showcased he's better than CD.
00:56He, I mean, if he could.
00:58Wow, you're just going for it, huh?
01:00All right.
01:01But wait a second, Kevin.
01:03Wait a second.
01:04When he's focused, George Pickens could take games.
01:10It's the body size.
01:11And maybe it's the fact that he's, you know, he's a Georgia guy.
01:15So, like, you love those Georgia guys that just, you know, hit the ground running in
01:19the NFL.
01:20But, again, he's physical.
01:22He's a red zone target.
01:24He's yards after the catch.
01:26He's a blocking phenom.
01:27And I love CD, too.
01:29But if we're talking, you would want CD more than George here at this point?
01:36I would take a shot on George.
01:38Nah, I would take George.
01:39I, I...
01:40As crazy as he is, I would take George.
01:43So, but that's my problem, Joe, is I don't think that there was any indication after a
01:50full season that Pickens isn't still a little bit touch and go, right?
01:58There is something about his attitude and demeanor that you can lose, potentially, right?
02:08And Lamb has his frustrations, but CD Lamb has a much better track record.
02:14CD Lamb, by the way, still put up incredible numbers.
02:19And if you look at it, some of the per-game stuff is skewed because he had a game against
02:25the Giants where it was the last game of the regular season.
02:28So, he was out there, get a catch for four yards.
02:31He had a game, another game he was injured against the Chicago Bears.
02:34He actually didn't even catch a football.
02:35He got injured, I believe, on a run play, if anything, Joe.
02:38So, this is a guy who had 1,000, almost 1,100 yards in really just 12 games, right?
02:46And I think having...
02:48So, here's what's interesting.
02:49I think having Lamb and Pickens next to one another works.
02:52I think it actually makes not just George better in terms of open.
02:57I feel like they are together.
03:00We saw that that came with a bit of blowback because they had to get punished and benched
03:03for a drive against Vegas because they spent the night out together where Lamb's only problem
03:08wasn't the benching, but was that people thought he couldn't hold his liquor, which is insane.
03:13But what I don't understand is that this, Joe, who's better, Joe Burrow or Dak Prescott?
03:22In my opinion, Burrow.
03:24Joe, I think that that's everybody's opinion.
03:26Joe, of these four receivers, Chase, Pickens, Lamb, Higgins, who's the best receiver?
03:34Chase.
03:35Obviously.
03:36And is T. Higgins, like, wildly far behind Pickens or Lamb in this instance?
03:43No.
03:44Dallas is going to end up paying comfortably more money for their trio than Cincinnati's.
03:51And it doesn't even work for Cincinnati.
03:54True.
03:55But it's Dallas.
03:57And Jerry likes the circus.
03:59Sure.
03:59But this is crazy.
04:01I know.
04:02But they need – Dallas, if there's one team that thrives off of turmoil and thrives off
04:11of their stars, more so than your Philadelphia Eagles, it's the Dallas Cowboys.
04:16No?
04:17I mean, isn't this – this is perfect.
04:20Isn't – now, I agree with you, though, Kevin, that they are better together than they are separate.
04:27I think they make each other better in the offense.
04:31They obviously take away double teams.
04:34Their athleticism together allows both of them to produce at an elite level.
04:40Similar to your point of Chase and Higgins.
04:43They're similar type of body types and similar type of, you know, route runners.
04:48So, it's just amazing that when you see this, again, if George Pickens could be motivated
04:56and just stay focused, he could be elite, more elite than what he already is, Kevin.
05:03So, I'll see you next time.
05:03Bye.
05:03Bye.
