00:00 Hey guys, my name is Brian. I am a creative makeup artist and today I thought I
00:06 should challenge myself. It is the season for Aquarians so we are going to
00:15 transform myself into the birthstone of Aquarians, the amethyst. I'm going to use
00:23 some unconventional products such as plastic bottles, clay, and glass shards
00:28 and yes glass shards. I just feel like Lady Gaga at the moment. Oh, it looks so good.
00:37 This makeup look is something that I haven't done before. Honestly I am very
00:42 excited but also kind of nervous because I don't know how this is gonna turn out
00:46 but hey let's stress the process. So for this makeup look it's important to have
00:52 a clean and moisturized skin. I am based here in Canada and right now it's like
01:00 minus 40 and I don't have a top on. I'm freezing! We are going to map out where
01:11 we are going to attach our plastic bottles. The ones that I created prior to this video.
01:20 Yes. Do we agree? Do we love? Okay.
01:26 So now that we have all the mapping done we are going to make sure that the skin
01:35 side here is flawless. Gorgeous! So let's get the clay. It's kind of like a thick
01:52 whipped cream or like a cake batter almost consistency and just make sure
01:59 that you are using this at your own risk. Do not put this onto your hair because
02:05 it is going to be a pain to remove.
02:11 So as you can see I'm doing this type of motion because we want to see textures.
02:17 We don't want to see it just flat and later on when it dries it's going to
02:23 crack and that's what we are really going for.
02:29 So growing up I was really into art. My best friend was like why don't you do
02:39 makeup? I really started just doing a ton of makeup and uploading it on social
02:46 media and I wasn't really expecting that it would be such a hit. Like that but hey
02:57 I'll take it.
03:00 You're going to next paint the clay and then the rest of the skin part and just
03:13 using my airbrush and then a work paint. I really do love using unconventional
03:22 materials because it makes my artistry unique and stand out from others and I'm
03:27 pretty sure if you're an Aquarius you really don't want to go with a flow with
03:32 like the trends. You kind of want to have your own spin with everything.
03:48 So let's get to contouring.
03:53 So as you can see I added some tones of purple. So now this is the fun part
04:04 because I'm going to use paper and rip it and then we are going to use the
04:11 paper to give that a nice effect the marble linings. That one's on and then
04:24 the other one. So now it's just details so we are going to just add our nails
04:30 and gold lining. It's so hard to see right now.
04:38 Oh no.
04:40 That looks so cool. Alright you guys this is the finished look. What do you think? I
04:54 probably would describe this makeup look as edgy, avant-garde, never-been-seen
05:00 before. I just feel like Lady Gaga at the moment. I didn't even think that it would
05:05 actually be possible. The most difficult part is definitely applying this onto my
05:12 head but yeah other than that it's like so cool and abstract and like avant-garde
05:18 and that's what we're going for. So I hope that you guys learned quite a few
05:24 techniques from my artistry and I hope that you guys pursue your dreams if you
05:31 want to get into creative makeup artistry it is really fun. Thank you guys
05:36 so much for watching this video and I hope that you guys enjoyed it and I'll
05:40 see you guys soon. Bye!
