01:15Because she doesn't usually wear makeup. So we're gonna do a smokey eye. Kind of a nude lip. A little
01:21bit of contour and blush. All that fun stuff.
01:24I am a little nervous. This is a lot. It's a lot of stuff. I don't think I've ever seen

02:05It was really, really difficult to express myself. So I had to wear feminine clothes. I had to wear clothes
02:11that made me uncomfortable.
02:12I think being treated so like this is wrong because of religion, because of things like that, I really, really
02:20struggled with figuring out my identity and who I was.
02:25So Tay, why did you want to do a transformation into a feminine look? Like what was the reason?
02:31I think it was just as like a reminder to people like me and to myself really in the queer
02:36community.
02:37Like there are no barriers. Like we don't have to follow a stereotype. Even though I'm a masculine woman, we
02:42can still be feminine. We can still embrace our femininity.
02:46What does your family think about your androgynous style?
02:49I wasn't allowed to be gay. I struggled with or they struggled with me, my clothes. I would literally dress
02:58one way in the house and then I'd go to school and change.
03:00And I remember there was one time where I had a rainbow belt and my mom actually threw it away.
03:08So it was really like things like that. It was really, I felt like I was doing something wrong. So
03:12I just stopped. I just tried to fit in.
03:14They were trying to protect me from the world and they didn't do it in the best way, but they
03:19did the best that they could.
03:21And because of that, we're good now.
03:24They usually start off with the eyes, especially for something really, really glam.
03:28What in the world is glam? I have no idea what that even means.

34:07So I wanted to dress more as a girl, as you could say.
34:12But I felt so uncomfortable.
34:14I had a very rough time on deciding whether or not
34:18I wanted to let people's opinions ruin me
34:20or if I wanted to love myself more.
34:23It was just a huge toll on me.
34:25But then I realised that the only people that matter to me
34:28and that I need their support is my family and my friends.
34:31After that, it was just, I was okay with being me.
34:34Just putting a bit of shadow in the crease.
34:36We're going for quite a warm colour as well.
34:38And that just helps to define the eye shape a lot more.
