Meet the identical male triplets with the middle names A, B and C.

Quentin B Meloff and brothers Andrew A Meloff and Joel C Meloff, all 31, were all born within 45 seconds of each other.

Their parents, Suzanne Lyons and Rick Meloff, gave the boys the initials – in their birth order - after nurses suggested the funny idea.

They painted the triplets' toenails to tell them apart and Quentin recalls not being able to recognise himself in a photo of the three brothers until he was 12.

The brothers have always found their names have been “met with a little bit of shock” and Quentin believes it has “always been the best first date question”.

But Quentin decided to remove his middle name B from his passport after being accused of "lying" when trying to get through border control, although he maintains his middle name legally.

00:00If you thought your childhood was weird, I grew up as an identical triplet and I have no idea who I am in any photo for the age of 8.
00:06I'm being dead serious. Like, my mom will show us a photo of the three of us and ask which one I think I am, and I have no idea.
00:11Like, I'll just blankly stare at the photo and just guess. And then I'll ask her and she'll just shrug.
00:14She doesn't know either. I guess this is just like my life now.
00:17Like, I feel like there's a pretty good chance that I'm not actually me.
00:19If you thought your childhood was weird, I grew up as an identical triplet and our middle names are literally A, B, and C.
00:24So technically my middle name is just the letter B.
00:26Like, apparently the nurses thought it would be cute and my parents just went for it.
00:29But I literally had to remove it off my passport.
00:31Because every single time I'd cross the border, they'd pull me aside and ask why my middle name is the letter B.
00:35And I'd have to tell them this whole song and dance, which like just sounds like I'm lying.
00:38Like, I guess the alphabet is just a red flag now.
00:39Like, I'm sorry to anyone whose name's J.
00:41If you thought your childhood was weird, I grew up as an identical triplet and by the age of 6, we were considered up-and-coming child stars.
00:47Like, by the second grade, we were already in a TV show with Mark Ruffalo, we're in multiple high-profile commercials,
00:52and even had a reality TV show pitch to us.
00:54But ultimately, we turned it down to focus on school.
00:56You know, to have a normal childhood.
00:57As if being an identical triplet is normal.
00:59And now I'm 30, making sandwiches on TikTok.
01:01So, you know, the plan's going great.
01:02You thought your childhood was weird?
01:04I grew up as an identical triplet and we were addicted to early 2000s Food Network.
01:08Like, most kids would watch cartoons on Saturday morning, but my brothers and I, we would race to the TV to watch Bobby Flay.
01:13Like, at recess, my friends would be trading Pokemon cards.
01:15Meanwhile, I'd be talking to the teacher about how Sussure Lee was on Iron Chef.
01:18I wish I could say it got better as I got older, but it only got worse.
01:20Like, I spent my early teenage years watching diners, drive-ins, and dives on Friday night as if it was must-watch TV.
01:25So clearly, I was one of the cool kids in high school.
