00:06 In 5 seconds, I need to answer every question that I get from this bottle.
00:14 There.
00:15 We're going to do it again as always, so...
00:18 1, 2, 3!
00:20 Give 5 common shapes of bottle.
00:25 Circle.
00:26 Spiral.
00:27 Is it the same?

00:33 Okay, next question.

00:41 Soft drink.
00:42 Juice.
00:43 Water.
00:44 Coffee.

00:50 This is our last question.
00:53 Give 5 dishes that are placed in a bottle.
00:56 Sardines.
00:58 Alamang.
00:59 Bagoong.
01:00 What is it? Chicken? Pork?
01:06 Speaking of food, Mams and Paps, did you know that you can bottle not only dried fish or sardines,
01:14 but even your favorite food can also be a bottle of capitalism.
01:26 The national dish of chicken adobo, the longer it lasts, the more it absorbs the flavor,
01:31 the more delicious and you'll really get more appetite.
01:34 But did you know that it can last for a year?
01:38 The secret is the bottle.
01:41 That's what Mamsi June achieved from the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio City.
01:46 Because most of our residents sell Tinim.
01:52 Tinim is from my mother's hometown in Nueva Ecija.
01:57 It's different from adobo because this is sweet, but adobo is saltier compared to tinim.
02:05 Hello Mamsis and Papsis, today I will teach you how to make Gourmet Chicken Adobo.
02:14 First, we will saute the garlic and onion.
02:19 Then, we will add bay leaves, pepper, soy sauce and vinegar.
02:22 Next, we will add the chicken adobo flakes or minced chicken.
02:25 We will just mix it and then we will add the other ingredients for flavoring.
02:29 We will also add a little honey and sugar.
02:32 After a few minutes, you can bottle the Gourmet Chicken Adobo.
02:38 It's just chicken, right?
02:43 Just a tip, Mamsis and Papsis, the bottle needs to be sterilized to last longer and preserve its taste.
02:50 Okay, Mamsis and Papsis, here it is.
02:52 We will taste this Gourmet Chicken Adobo Flakes.
02:56 It's fresh from Baguio.
02:58 Oh, it smells so good.
03:02 Oh, this is so magnificent.
03:05 First, let's taste it.
03:12 It's delicious.
03:13 This is so delicious.
03:17 You can really eat a lot of this.
03:19 You can bring this to your office, especially if you're bringing food to your office.
03:25 If you're having a picnic, you can bring this to your camping.
03:29 It smells so good.
03:31 Very good.
03:32 Two thumbs up for that.
03:33 June started making Gourmet Chicken Adobo Flakes in 2016 using only P2,500.
03:42 Our Gourmet business started in the school bazaar of Chelsea, my daughter.
03:49 We got positive feedback from our customers.
03:54 That's how we started.
03:56 We also sold it to my husband's office.
03:59 Because of this positive feedback, they were able to improve their business.
04:05 But the problem is, they had to work harder because they were just inside their house.
04:11 That's why it was hard for them to get an approval from the Food and Drug Administration or FDA.
04:17 It's very important that in the food manufacturing business, the factory and the production area are in order.
04:25 The FDA will not give us a license if we don't do our work properly.
04:32 And when this business started in their area, their competition increased.
04:38 Of course, June still didn't give up.
04:41 They learned how to maintain the loyalty of their customers.
04:45 Great quality comes from customer trust.
04:48 That's what we believe in.
04:50 That's why we improved the quality of our products to satisfy our customers' needs.
04:57 We started with just 10 bottles.
05:01 But because we improved the product, many customers came back to us.
05:08 But they don't expect a sudden pandemic.
05:12 They say it's one of the big business effects that happened before.
05:15 The pandemic has a big effect on our business.
05:18 We had to temporarily stop because it was hard to get raw materials.
05:23 People couldn't go out to buy products.
05:26 But that didn't stop us from doing our work.
05:29 It was our motivation to improve.
05:35 Never say die, June Forda said.
05:38 Their business was also able to survive.
05:41 We are really improving our processes.
05:44 We secured an FDA license.
05:47 We moved to a better place.
05:50 They sell chicken adobo flakes for P199 to P265.
05:56 They have two flavors, honey chicken and spicy honey chicken.
06:01 They also have gourmet tuyo with salted egg.
06:04 And gourmet tuyo in olive oil.
06:07 They also expanded their products like bangus tinapa and pest tuyo.
06:13 They also started selling their products online.
06:17 They are now more popular and featured by bloggers and content creators.
06:22 We also maximized the power of social media.
06:25 So that we can reach more people, not just in Baguio City but in the whole Philippines.
06:33 It's now reaching other countries like the UAE and other places in Asia.
06:37 June's total amount of P2,500 is now P150,000 per month.
06:46 Their small business is now big and complete.
06:52 They also bought a car that they use for their delivery and pick up of ingredients and raw materials that they will use in their business.
07:02 And the previous 10 bottles that were sold, they received more than 1,000 bottles per month.
07:09 Because of this, June is now saving up to build their dream house.
07:14 They are now able to visit big bazaars in different places in Luzon.
07:18 And their products are now displayed in some malls and establishments.
07:23 June's wife is very considerate to other people in running her business.
07:28 So she is very thankful to her staff.
07:32 Our boss is very kind and he is very good at his job.
07:37 His job is easy and very light.
07:40 Start with that and be open to corrections if you need to correct something in your product.
07:48 And don't be afraid to explore what you need to learn so that you can correct your process.
07:58 The key to success in your business is to be in a good state of mind.
08:02 As long as you know how to be careful and give blessings to other people,
08:05 you will have a good future.
08:09 [Music]
08:31 you
