00:00It is all about the mountain snow, especially in the northwest and to some extent into the Rockies as we
00:06go through pretty much the rest of the month.
00:08The time frame we're looking at here is through November 20th.
00:11Now, keep in mind, this is just one model's depiction of how much snow accumulation we see.
00:17It's the GFS model specifically if you're somebody that's paying attention to the models.
00:21But let's get into the Accuother exclusive forecast and more of the details here now that you've seen, okay, snow
00:27in the mountains actually accumulating.
00:29So through next week, this starts with warmer systems where snow levels, they're going to stay pretty high.
00:35So we're really not going to talk about snow until later next week.
00:39But it's round after round of rain where we really could see flash flooding in places like Seattle, Portland, down
00:46to Eugene, even towards Medford here, and then up into Canada as well.
00:50So be on the lookout for flash flooding first, especially urban flooding, and then we'll start to talk about snow.
00:56But let's look at the rain on Future Radar, give you an idea of when each round arrives.
00:59So we start Friday already with rain.
01:02And, yes, you see the blue on there.
01:04But keep in mind, the snow levels, they're high.
01:05It is high, high, high elevation snow to start out.
01:08Here's the first storm moving its way through.
01:10By Saturday, it lifts north.
01:12But then we get another round of rain moving into Seattle by Saturday evening.
01:16And that breaks up as it moves inland, which, you know, tends to be the trend.
01:20But the point is that it's just storm after storm after storm really is the problem here.
01:26So talking about the snow now, we're looking at next week.
01:30So late next week, think about Thursday, Friday.
01:33Things start with that storm moving in.
01:34And then through the weekend, that's when we start to really accumulate the snow.
01:38The darkest blue is where the heaviest snow sets up.
01:41So the most accumulations here, it's going to cause some problems for anyone that might be driving through the passes.
01:45But it's great news for the ski resorts and really the rest of the month is because it's a very
01:51active storm track.
