00:00Bob, if you told me this before, correct me if I'm wrong, but you have a vote for the National
00:04League Most Valuable Player Award.
00:07Who do you like in that side of the bracket here when it comes to the NL Most Valuable Player?
00:14Well, let's give me a no-brainer.
00:16It's going to be Peter Crow Armstrong from the Cubs.
00:18He's going to win unanimously.
00:21Otani is going to finish second.
00:23Bryce Terang of the Brewers will finish third.
00:25But this is Crow Armstrong's award.
00:27He ran away within September, particularly when Otani got hurt, when Otani stopped pitching, and Crow Armstrong took off.
00:34So I'd be stunned if it's not unanimous.
00:38Over on the American League side, who do you like over there?
00:42I like Jorn Alvarez of Houston.
00:44He kind of carried that team on his back.
00:47Junior Cam Manero had a heck of a year.
00:49I think Cam Manero finishes second.
00:51Bobby Witt finishes third.
00:53But I think this is Alvarez's MVP to lose.
00:57You know, I've got to tell you, too, the Manager of the Year awards, too, obviously, especially here, you've got
01:03to vote here on this.
01:05Mattingly with the Phillies.
01:06Murphy with the Brewers.
01:08Weiss with the Braves.
01:09Who do you like here?
01:11It's almost a toss-up between Weiss and Murphy.
01:16I think Murphy could squeeze in there.
01:19Remember, the votes are done at the end of the regular season, but postseason doesn't count.
01:23That's why Bruce Bochy's only won one of those, you know, Manager of the Year awards.
01:29So I'm not sure Weiss would be on everybody's ballot for top three, where I think Murphy will be.
01:34So I'll give a slight, slight edge to Murphy, but I think it'd be close.
01:38And I think Manglin will finish third.
01:40He would have had a better chance, but, of course, they didn't make the playoffs until the final day.
01:44It could have been the worst collapse in baseball history, and they saved themselves by winning on that final Sunday.
01:51American League Manager of the Year.
01:53Who do you like there?
01:55Yeah, it's got to be Will Venable.
01:57They go from 121 losses to 102 to make the playoffs, nearly won the division.
02:03So, very close against the Ailes.
02:06I'll go Will Venable, number one for sure.
02:09And probably, I would think Cash would be three, and then two would be Boston.
02:15I'll go Will Venable, number one for sure.
02:15I'll go Will Venable, number one for sure.
02:15I'll go Will Venable, number one for sure.
02:15I'll go Will Venable, number one for sure.
02:15I'll go Will Venable, number one for sure.
