00:00I wish I could tell you it's done but that's just not really what we're dealing with. So a couple
00:04things I want to point out if I turn my pen on now I can draw your attention to what
00:10I'm wanting
00:10to show you. So first we have the rain shield, the widespread rain, not necessarily anything
00:14too heavy. We have a little bit of yellows and oranges sprinkled in here but again it's nothing
00:20crazy. We're not talking about big flash flooding. I haven't even really seen storm reports come in
00:24but then we have a squall line to talk about. Now I will say this has been losing intensity over
00:30the
00:30last hour so great news there for places like Omaha but we just got to watch some of these lines
00:36that
00:36pop up because that's where it's not completely out of the question to get some stronger storms.
00:40This is just north of the area we're highlighting for severe weather goes all the way through Kansas
00:45City if you recall the map that Jeff just showed you and it's not out of the question for somewhere
00:50like Iowa to get a few stronger storms. It's not going to be anything too widespread. I mean even
00:54that yellow sun risk is spotty but I just don't want you to be caught off guard. Want to highlight
00:58you know it's not out of the question is the category I'd put it in. As we end to tomorrow
01:03it's
01:04more rain and I really want to highlight the area of low pressure. This is what we're going to blame
01:09for the days of rain that we are about to see because it's just round after round. It only moves
01:14from
01:14Minnesota to Wisconsin Tuesday to Wednesday and that counterclockwise circulation it just brings us
01:22round after round of rain. Now thankfully it's not super impactful thunderstorms or anything like that
01:29but it is something that that we're going to have to deal with for a lot of the week.
01:33We head even into the next couple of hours we start to see more of the line of thunderstorms not
01:39necessarily squall lines but more of a you know line feature out ahead of our cold front rather
01:45than the rain shield that we've seen for a lot of today. We head into tomorrow it's spotty but it's
01:52there and we will see some downpours. I'm not going to completely rule out some flash flooding. It's not
01:56going to mean anything too crazy or widespread like what we saw in the southwest but it is something you
02:01should just be ready for the possibility of. We continue on here and this is what I'm talking about
02:06round after round of rain because of where that low pressure is. You might have seen a little bit
02:10of the circulation there on future radar. We go ahead to Wednesday. So election day keep in mind
02:16rain maybe a few thunderstorms just just plan for it when you're making your plan to vote which
02:21hopefully you already have. As we go to Wednesday morning the Ohio Valley gets the bulk of it but we
02:26still have lingering rain in places like Minneapolis. It's not until we get to Thursday that finally
02:34there we go. Minnesota dries out. I know you probably wish it was sooner but that's just what
02:39we're dealing with with this system. Now out ahead of that cold front before it drops down our
02:43temperatures we're even challenging records in places like Toledo, Ohio and a few places into Michigan.
