00:00We did learn, of course, also some injury news today regarding a couple of NFL teams
00:06over the weekend.
00:07We know now for a fact Lamar is in.
00:11We're seeing that total of around the 54 and a half.
00:14We're seeing that line still at a field goal here.
00:18So that's good news for Ravens fans, although I am still very confused as to what we think
00:25we're going to get out of Lamar in this game.
00:29I find it very hard to even think about an under in this spot with these two teams.
00:35But Buffalo is coming off of the bye week here this week.
00:39And the Ravens, well, they're coming off getting smacked down against a division rival there
00:44in the Cincinnati Bengals.
00:46So I get why he's playing, but a high ankle sprain, Craig, you know, and I know, he ain't
00:53100% and it's going to be interesting to see what what do we get out of at a Lamar

01:01Yeah, it's a difficult game to handicap.
01:03It is definitely one of the ones that I considered taking this week as the underdog of the week.
01:08I inevitably did not land on it.
01:10But I do think that if I had a choice to pick, it would be the Ravens.
01:13And there's a reason why the line is only three and you can't ignore when they make
01:18the odds.
01:19They certainly want you to be on both sides here.
01:23And, you know, for me, making Buffalo any bigger of a favorite definitely puts me on
01:29Baltimore side here because the odds are just screaming at me.
01:32Why is this line three with Lamar missing all this time?
01:35And usually that's how it works for me.
01:37So I expect this will probably be one of the better games of the week to your point on the
01:40total.
01:40Yeah, I was saying earlier in the week, how can anybody do a show and say, I really love
01:44the under like you really have to be in a position somehow to feel that way.
01:50And then the other part about this is that, you know, in doing some research today before
01:55the show and I'm like, I got to start taking a look at this this stuff with the bye weeks
02:00because I know that you and I have been talking about this so much because one of the picks
02:03that I landed on involves a team on a bye week.
02:08But I got to tell you, in doing the research here, Joe, it doesn't seem to really make
02:12a lot of difference if you're off or not in the NFL over the last few years.
02:16In fact, 30% of the teams off the bye week two years ago covered.
02:21So that's three out of every 10.
02:24This year, it's a little bit above 500.
02:27Last year, it was right at 500.
02:29So I, you know, certainly I think there are coaches like Andy Reid in particular and some
02:34others that do well and also players could be very good coming back off of bye week two.
02:40But I think in terms of the ATS analysis for me, I just don't think I'm going to play it
02:44as a factor in what I'm doing right now.
02:47I wanted to make sure of it and I wanted to take a look at it just to be sure.
02:51And this year in particular, it's a heavier ATS win off a bye.
02:56But the last two years, actually below 50% with teams that have been off.
03:00So I don't know that it really means a ton for Buffalo going into this game.
03:04That's why I'm bringing that up.
03:07Well, if it got him DJ more to be healthy and back on the field, then it's a positive for
03:13Buffalo because it looks like he will be back in the lineup in this game on Sunday, which
03:20is big for Buffalo since when he is on that field, they are a much better deep passing
03:28team than when he is not off.
03:31And I think that's that's going to that's going to be a huge matchup with that secondary with
03:39DJ more out there stretching the field much better with Josh Allen and DJ more passing the
03:45ball than opposed to having to kind of dink and dunk his way around with slot receiver.
