00:00Sean McVay was imploring, begging his team to get their collective heads out of their collective derriere's.
00:06And then all of a sudden, after Sirianni opted, well, I'm going to do it.
00:11The analytics department says we're going to do it.
00:13No, absolutely not.
00:16And then, bam, Stafford, 98 yards down the field.
00:26Everybody contributed to that.
00:28Everybody, right?
00:30So, there's execution errors.
00:32There's coaching errors.
00:34Everybody contributes to it.
00:35It's an ultimate team game.
00:36I'm very well aware of how the fourth down decisions go as the head coach.
00:41You go for it and you get it.
00:43Great.
00:44You go for it and you don't get it.
00:46That's on the head coach.
00:47And we didn't get it, so that's on me.
00:49Yeah, you're damn right it's on you, Nick Sirianni.
00:53I could not believe this in real time.
00:55And I don't want to hear the analytics geeks and the losers and the pencil pushers telling
01:02me that you don't kick the field goal in that spot.
01:05Because I'm watching the game and I couldn't believe what I witnessed.
01:09And I don't want to hear, well, you kicked the field goal.
01:12Then it's still, it's only 13 points instead of 10 points.
01:16And, you know, if the Rams score a couple of touchdowns, then they would have the lead.
01:22That's not how this thing works.
01:24The Philadelphia Eagles, if you watch the game and it's 20 to 10, 20 to 10, five minutes
01:31to go, they were awful on third down.
01:35They were awful on fourth down.
01:38So, I can't listen to anyone say at the end of the day, well, this is going to be a
01:43spot
01:43and this is going to be a situation where a touchdown Barry's at.
01:46What Philly fan on planet Earth was thinking, we're going to score a touchdown on fourth
01:51and two?
01:52They were 0 for 12 on third down.
01:550 for 12.
01:56Jalen Hurts was atrocious.
01:5912 of 27.
02:01He threw for 93 yards.
02:03One touchdown was a fluke.
02:05It hit off the helmet of one of the DBs for the LA Rams.
02:08The Rams were miserable for three-plus quarters.
02:13They were atrocious, not to mention the fact that Jalen Hurts and his career, 41-0.
02:2041-0, leading by 10 or more points in the final five minutes.
02:27So, kick the field goal because what analytics do not factor in, emotion, human nature.
02:3870,000 people booing Nick Sirianni and the team because if you kick the field goal and
02:45you're up 13 and you kick off, right, changes the whole complexion of everything as opposed
02:53to you go for it on fourth and two, stays at 10, you don't get it, bam, Rams have life.
03:00Simple as that.
03:01The Philadelphia Eagles are an unmitigated disaster, a total mess.
03:06Matthew Stafford and company were terrible.
03:08Sean McVay was imploring, begging his team to get their collective heads out of their
03:13collective derriere.
03:15And then all of a sudden after Sirianni opted, well, I'm going to do it.
03:19The analytics department says we're going to do it.
03:22No.
03:23Absolutely not.
03:24And then, bam, Stafford, 98 yards down the fields, hits Puka Nakua, who had a phenomenal
03:30game, Tyler Higbee, and they were marching down the field and then Kyron Williams with
03:35the touchdown.
03:36Rams defense forces a three and outs.
03:39And then, bam, Stafford does it again, long sustained touchdown scoring drive.
03:43And the better team, give them a little life, give them a little hope, they're going to
03:49make you pay.
03:50And listen, Nick Sirianni is a terrible, terrible in-game coach.
03:55Sean Mannion, the offensive coordinator, terrible.
03:59And I think this is part of it here.
04:01They're terrible.
04:03Jalen Hurts is having a miserable game.
04:05Lane Johnson didn't play.
04:07The offensive line is all banged up.
04:09The great offensive line coach, Stoutland, retired after the season.
04:14He's not there anymore.
04:15Devontae Smith wasn't there.
04:18Saquon Barkley wasn't there.
04:20So why did anybody think the Philadelphia Eagles are going to score in that spot?
04:24It all factors in.
04:26Not to mention, they didn't look good in week one.
04:29They didn't look good in week two.
04:30They got the doors blown off in week number three.
04:33So why would anybody think going forward in that spot was the right thing to do?
04:39And honestly, when you check the schedule for the Philadelphia Eagles, they're going to
04:43lose in London against Jacksonville.
04:45They're going to go on a losing streak.
04:48I just don't see how this team gets it together.
04:51Nick Sirianni has no idea what he's doing.
04:54Sean Mannion should have never been interviewed, let alone hired.
04:57And when Jalen Hurts, and I get it, all the injuries we just cited, it all factors in,
05:03it all matters.
05:04Jalen Hurts threw for under 100 yards in this game.
05:07He looks broken.
05:09I mean, this team is guessing, this team is pressing, this team is sickly, this team is
05:15sloppy, this team is fundamentally unsound.
05:18And the fact that they couldn't put away a wounded Rams team, amateur hour.
05:25A mess personified when you look at the Philadelphia Eagles.
05:29Meanwhile, Kenneth Walker III put on a show worthy of Vegas on Sunday against the Raiders
05:35and Max Crosby in a front row seat.
05:38Everyone knows him.
05:38I mean, he was a Super Bowl MVP.
05:40He's had a lot of success in this league.
05:42I played him, I think, 2022 in Seattle, and he had a pretty good game.
05:46You know, he's extremely shifty.
05:48He's quick, fast, and has great vision.
05:50He's patient as a runner.
05:51And, you know, the Chiefs, you know, had obviously made a great, you know, decision by getting
05:55a guy like that.
05:57Listen, Kenneth Walker III is the reason why, in my opinion, the Chiefs were able to win
06:03this game.
06:03It was incredibly impressive.
06:06Monster game-changing runs.
06:08Had that 76-yard run that set up the go-ahead touchdown, Mahomes to Thornton for the second
06:13time.
06:14You see the numbers on your screen right there.
06:1622 carries, 177 yards, two rushing touchdowns.
06:20And everyone knows how much I love Kenneth Walker III.
06:22In fact, there were times he was in Seattle, I thought I liked him more than the Seahawks
06:27liked him.
06:28And it goes noted that he did it against the Raiders, who were coached by his former offensive
06:32coordinator, Kubiak and Walker made sweet, beautiful music together in Seattle last year,
06:37en route to winning a championship.
06:39Walker was the MVP.
06:41So nobody knows it more and better than the Raiders' head coach.
06:46Listen, I think that when you look at it, this is incredibly impressive.
06:51And what Kenneth Walker was able to do is ridiculously amazing.
06:56And the Chiefs are 4-0.
06:59They deserve credit.
07:00This is still Andy Reid.
07:02This is still Patrick Mahomes.
07:04I thought the special teams excellent.
07:06In between the Walker touchdowns, they forced a fumble.
07:09Walker was able to score and execute two touchdowns.
07:12The Chiefs were able to score and execute two touchdowns in 19 seconds.
07:15That was ridiculously amazing.
07:17That was impressive.
07:18You're a Kansas City fan.
07:19Matt Ariza, the punter, the fake punt early.
07:23Terrific job pinning the Raiders back on their potential final drive to tie the game or win
07:29the game.
07:30That was huge.
07:32Listen, I don't regret anything I said in picking the Raiders to win.
07:36And I think if you're a Raiders fan, this is the rare game in the rare moment where you
07:40come away from this game and you say, you know what?
07:42But we're legit.
07:43We can play with the Kansas City Chiefs.
07:46We're better than the Kansas City Chiefs.
07:47We're as good as the Kansas City Chiefs.
07:50Because you've got to remember, Clint Kubiak took points off the board.
07:54You never take points off the board.
07:56You don't go full of floor.
07:57Made no sense.
07:59It was a game where it's 13-10 in the third quarter.
08:02First drive of the second half.
08:04And, you know, they kicked the field goal.
08:06It's just like what happened with Green Bay and Minnesota earlier in the year.
08:09And there's a penalty, but it's not enough for a first down.
08:13And they have to go for the first down.
08:15And they don't get it.
08:17And they have to exchange possession.
08:19And they have turnover on downs.
08:21That was amateur hour.
08:23You always put the points on the board.
08:25This is not the Chiefs from four years ago where you have to score touchdowns to beat Patrick Mahomes.
08:31You bank those points.
08:32And you never take the points off the board in that spot.
08:35And this was a game where you saw Kirk Cousins do a lot of good things.
08:39You know, you heard what Clint Kubiak had to say to our friend Tracy Wolfson at halftime.
08:43We're going to win the game.
08:45And I think if you're a Raiders fan, you come away thinking we can beat anyone in the NFL.
08:51We're making the playoffs.
08:52Check their schedule.
08:53And I think that when you look at it, the Raiders can take this game and turn it into a
08:59big-time positive.
09:01Now, the next three weeks are really tough games.
09:06Not to mention you have the Niners coming up.
09:09You have the Seahawks coming up.
09:11The Broncos in Denver.
09:13Cleveland in Cleveland is not going to be easy.
09:15Which brings me back to week four, week five combined, if you're a Raiders fan.
09:21Could have beat KC.
09:22Should have beat KC.
09:24Now, find a way to beat New England.
09:27And we'll get to the Patriots later.
09:29Patriots are now alive.
09:30And the Bills gave them some hope and gave them some life.
09:34But, listen, at the end of the day, I mean, you have to go win that game.
09:39Raiders are better.
09:39I mean, if we're doing a shine-time power rankings, the Raiders are certainly ahead of the Patriots on the
09:45list.
09:45Last year, with a miserable team and a miserable coach, week one of the season, got to jog them up
09:50the Rolodex.
09:51Remember this, because the Raiders are the first pick of the draft.
09:53The Patriots win the Super Bowl.
09:55Raiders won in New England last year.
09:56So, this now becomes a game.
09:59If we're going to raise the bar on the Raiders, and we are, then, yes, they should go on the
10:05road and win this game.
10:07That's the expectation.
10:09That's what I see when I take a look at the way Linderbaum played.
10:13And the way Bowers played.
10:14And the way Cousins played.
10:15And the way they played on defense with Crosby and Dean and Walker and company.
10:20I expect them to go on the road, beat the New England Patriots.
10:25Give Kenneth Walker III and Patrick Mahomes and company all the credit in the world.
10:29They certainly deserved it.
10:31I was dead wrong on who was going to win, nailed it in terms of the point spread.
10:36But I had the Raiders winning the game.
10:38So, in that regard, I was wrong, and I own it.
10:41But I'm actually even more encouraged about my opinion on the Raiders, even in a loss.
10:51That's how great I thought the Raiders played yesterday.
10:54So, the Chiefs to 4-0.
10:55They're joined by the Vikings, who beat the Dolphins 15-10 at home.
10:58And the 49ers, who had a very impressive home win against the Denver Broncos.
11:03As Brock Purdy continues to Brock and roll.
11:07It is, of course, the month of Brocktober.
11:09And you look at Purdy right now and what he's doing.
11:12Look at that bottom note here, okay?
11:16The only quarterback all time to start 4-0 with one or fewer sacks, fumbles, interception combined.
11:28Brock Purdy, after four weeks, is the NFL MVP.
11:32Brock Purdy, in a game that was oddly 3-3 at the half with the Broncos and the 49ers,
11:40had the touchdown to Debo.
11:42The long, sustained 74-yard drive where he's making all sorts of throws.
11:46Christian McCaffrey touchdown.
11:48Then the screen to Kittle.
11:49Bam!
11:5056 yards.
11:51He's able to absolutely rumble into the end zone.
11:55That's how the 49ers absolutely get it done.
11:58I thought the Vikings, and that was my survivor pick, as you know.
12:03I thought the Vikings' defense was phenomenal.
12:06I think the Dolphins stink.
12:08I thought Kyler Murray was dreadful yesterday.
12:10And I picked the Vikings to make the playoffs before the season.
12:13I still very much believe that's going to be the case.
12:15But Kyler Murray needs to get better.
12:17Justin Jefferson needs to get healthy.
12:19The Chiefs survived the Raiders.
12:21The Chiefs were excellent.
12:23You know, obviously, Rice and Thornton got hurt.
12:26That's a big deal at the wide receiver position.
12:28So if we're asking of the unbeatens, who's the best?
12:32Well, if you check the unofficial Shine Time rankings, I have the 49ers at the top if we
12:39were doing a power ranking after four weeks in the NFL season.
12:43I really think that when you look at the 49ers, their coaching, the way Purdy has played, the
12:50way that they have dealt with adversity, who they've beat, how they've beat them, when
12:55they've beat them.
12:56I think it's ridiculously incredible.
12:58And I think the San Francisco 49ers absolutely at this stage deserve to be considered the
13:05best team in the NFL.
13:09I'm going to tell you, it's impressive, man.
13:11It's impressive.
13:12And again, how much better can we get?
13:15How much better can we be?
13:16And we're going to be.
13:19It doesn't get any better than the New York football Giants sitting in first place in
13:23the division on October 5th.
13:24We're going to talk Giants and Cowboys and Bills.
13:26More of my Monday musings next.
13:34I'm heating up and I'm starting to get better, better and better.
13:38Last week, you know, I was questioning if I could even throw, you know, this week, you
13:42know, I got people talking about the Jameis Winston experience again, you know, so I'm just
13:46still, you know, so curious and I'm so inspired to be the best me every single day.
13:54And that alone pushes me.
13:56Not another man, you know, not another teammate, you know, just my desire to be what I would
14:02love.
14:02How about the New York football Giants?
14:07How about Jameis Winston, John Harbaugh, and the first place to the NFC East, New York
14:13football Giants?
14:14How about how the Giants beat the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium yesterday?
14:20This is unbelievable.
14:22And I want you to take a look at every single element on this wonderful board.
14:27These nuggets of absolute domination.
14:32Honestly, Jameis Winston throwing for three touchdown passes, it's just terrific.
14:37Deontay Banks with that pulsating 98-yard pick six as the Giants are celebrating the 1986 team,
14:45wearing those gorgeous uniforms.
14:47I mean, there was something beautiful about that as Arizona is driving and trying to score
14:53and, you know, they're at the Giants' four-yard line.
14:56But I'll tell you, as much as anything that is on this board, Arvel Reese, are you kidding
15:04me?
15:05Nine tackles, tackle for loss, interception, three pass breakups.
15:10I told you this guy was the best defensive player in the draft.
15:15I told you the Jets should have picked him.
15:18I think the world of Arvel Reese, as we speak today, he's not just the defensive rookie of
15:25the year.
15:26He's on the short list when it comes to the defensive player of the year, regardless of
15:31position.
15:32Like, regardless of position, regardless of what it is in terms of years played in the
15:37NFL in the back of the bubblegum card.
15:39Like, Reese has been that dude, and you get extra consideration when you're playing on
15:46a first-place team.
15:47And here's the deal.
15:49Nobody expects this to continue, but everybody knows that if Brian Dayball is coaching this
15:56team, Giants don't win.
15:58Ben McAdoo is coaching this team, they don't win.
16:00If Shermer is coaching the team, if here comes the judges coaching this team, they don't win.
16:08John Harbaugh's Giants win the game.
16:11You heard me in my pick last week on this game.
16:14It was a shoulder shrug, hell if I know.
16:17And I thought there was a real shot that you could see Arizona get a win.
16:21And I picked the Giants to win based upon one reason alone.
16:25John Harbaugh.
16:26The entire coaching staff last week and Joe Shane wearing the 1-0 shirts.
16:31This is an attitude.
16:33This is a mentality.
16:34This is a message.
16:36I thought the Giants played incredibly well.
16:39And by the way, they're going to win again next week.
16:42Take a look at the schedule.
16:44Here's the good news when it comes to the Giants.
16:46They've got the gift of Washington.
16:48And Washington is a mess.
16:50Both quarterbacks are heard.
16:52And even if Jaden Daniels and Marcus Mariota play next week, I like the Giants with Jameis
16:58Winston, even without Dart, even without Burns, because I love John Harbaugh.
17:04I love the attitude.
17:06I love the ability to deal with noise and deal with adversity.
17:10And nobody, nobody is telling you to take Sundays in middle of January off for the playoffs.
17:19Nobody's saying that.
17:21Nobody believes that the Giants are going to find a way to win the division or make the playoffs.
17:26But this team is establishing an identity.
17:31And if the Giants can somehow get to 4-1 after five weeks, which to me is very believable and
17:39doable,
17:40you know what they're going to do?
17:41They're going to have some fake slash real confidence.
17:44They're going to have some fake real believability with their real amazing diehard fans
17:50who haven't seen wins at home, haven't seen wins like this since Tom Coughlin was coaching the team.
17:58I just love this win.
18:00This was so much fun.
18:02The uniforms, it's a home game.
18:04The Giants have been dreadful.
18:06And yes, what a perfect back page of the New York Post.
18:10The 86 team is there celebrating the 86 team.
18:13They're in those uniforms from 1986.
18:17Pick 86.
18:18Perfection.
18:19Absolute perfection.
18:21Everything we saw from the Giants yesterday was hopeful.
18:27It was inspiring.
18:29It's a harbinger of things to come in terms of attitude for 2026
18:33and for the Giants to ultimately make the playoffs in 2027.
18:38The Giants' NFC East rival, the Cowboys,
18:41avoided a disastrous 1-3 start thanks to the heroics of CeeDee Lamb,
18:46who had the game-winning touchdown in Houston as the Texans fell to 0-4.
18:53Look at the numbers from my guy CeeDee Lamb.
18:5817 catches.
19:0017 catches.
19:00The go-ahead touchdown.
19:03189 receiving yards.
19:06Five catches on the final drive.
19:09Lamb has the chops for the moment.
19:12My goodness.
19:14And let me tell you something.
19:16You factor in all-encompassing everything.
19:18And this was a Texans team.
19:21They fall to 0-4.
19:22They're playing for their lives.
19:24Game's in Houston.
19:26D'Amico Ryan's a better coach than Brian Schottenheimer.
19:29They've got a lot of great players on defense.
19:31The fact that the Dallas Cowboys won this game, to me, is a huge deal.
19:37The fact that they won it in this fashion, with Prescott and Lamb rocking and rolling
19:43on the road against a defense loaded with great players, that shows me something.
19:49Devontae Williams, three touchdowns.
19:51That shows me something.
19:53The Dallas Cowboys, over the last 30 years, lose this game.
19:57No other way to frame it.
19:59I mean, we could talk about all the moments of futility for this team,
20:03for this organization, bad coaching, how bad they play when the game's on the line.
20:09The fact that CeeDee Lamb put his stamp on this game,
20:12Dak Prescott put a stamp on this game,
20:14that they won on the heels of what happened the week before in Rio?
20:20Man, that is everything.
20:22And you factor in, look, the Giants are a great story.
20:26Washington is a disaster, right?
20:28And Philadelphia's a mess, and they're going to lose to Jacksonville.
20:31It's going to be an international incident coming up in week number five.
20:35That game is going to be in London.
20:37It's going to be a complete disaster.
20:39This is more proof that the Dallas Cowboys are going to win the NFC East.
20:44And everything that I thought about the Dallas Cowboys before the season started,
20:48even as their defense has not lived up to my expectations,
20:53it's all there.
20:54It's all right in front of you.
20:56I love this for the Dallas Cowboys.
20:58I love this for Dak Prescott, and I love this for my guy, CeeDee Lamb.
21:04The Buffalo Bills allowed Drake May and the Patriots to steal a win in Buffalo on Sunday,
21:10giving life to a New England team that was certainly on the brink.
21:13And if you are a fan of the Buffalo Bills,
21:16this one absolutely positively makes you sick.
21:20I mean, this was a brutal, and I mean a terrible, terrible loss for the Buffalo Bills.
21:27When Josh Allen hits Keon Coleman with that missile in the back of the end zone,
21:32I honestly thought that the game was over.
21:35Instead, Drake May, who had looked like Zach Wilson for all four playoff games last year,
21:43first three games this year, first half against Buffalo,
21:46the fact that you saw Drake May march the team down the field,
21:52eight-play, 73-yard drive,
21:55to someone who's apparently named Efton Chisholm,
22:00Bills fans were saying,
22:02F my life.
22:04I mean, you've got to be kidding me.
22:06And give the kid credit,
22:08you know, made that incredible one-handed grab,
22:10but that was unfathomable.
22:14That was unacceptable.
22:14Bills still had a chance at the end,
22:17and Josh Allen spun out of a potential sack,
22:20threw into double coverage.
22:21He threw an unacceptable interception.
22:23And I live for Josh Allen.
22:25That game felt like a Sean McDermott game.
22:28The utilization of James Cook was weird.
22:31He was rocking.
22:32They didn't run enough with him.
22:33The defense did not make enough stops,
22:36did not make enough plays.
22:38And it's the Patriots, man!
22:40The Patriots have ruined the Buffalo Bills' seasons for decades,
22:45going back to, obviously, Brady and Belichick.
22:48And even think about the Mac Jones throwing three passes game.
22:53Or think about last year, supposed to be the Bills' year.
22:55Drake May, out of nowhere, finds a way to win the division.
22:59You can't give the Patriots life.
23:03Because being fair, Drake May in the second half was phenomenal.
23:08Drake May, I can't believe I'm saying it, I gotta call it like it is,
23:11outplayed Josh Allen in the second half of that game.
23:14And Allen made some great throws, no question about it,
23:16including that aforementioned great connection with Coleman.
23:20Coleman had the best game that he's ever had as a Buffalo Bill,
23:22and they still lost the game.
23:26I'm not gonna sit here and tell you that Drake May is back,
23:29but 29 points and a 29-26 win,
23:33that's more than the Patriots and Drake May had
23:36in the first three games combined.
23:38So, if you're a Patriot fan, listen,
23:42and I'm reading all the YouTube posts here on Shine Time,
23:47all my mentions on Twitter, on Instagram, at Adam Shine.
23:51I know you guys are paying attention,
23:54and I said the Patriots would start 0-4.
23:56I said the Bills would bury them on Sunday.
23:59I was wrong.
24:01I was dead wrong.
24:02Doesn't mean the Patriots are alive and well,
24:05but they had a golden opportunity, the Bills, to bury them.
24:09And now, all of a sudden, because Mike Vrabel's a terrific coach,
24:12and Drake May has obviously, last year, played at an MVP level,
24:16it's all there for this team.
24:19What a joke.
24:19What an absolute disgrace by the Buffalo Bills.
24:23Because now, and again, Buffalo hasn't played a lick of defense,
24:26they've got the Rams coming up on Monday Night Football.
24:30I mean, that's going to be a Herculean kind of performance and effort
24:35from that defense to try to go out and stop Matthew Stafford
24:39and Pukinacua and Devontae Adams.
24:40So, what a mess.
24:42What a total mess for the Buffalo Bills.
24:45A chance to declare the AFC East over?
24:49That, simply put, cannot happen.
24:52In Baltimore, the Ravens beat the Titans,
24:54but Lamar Jackson left the stadium in a walking boot
24:56after suffering an ankle injury.
24:58Listen, what I'm not going to do is sit here and play doctor.
25:02Now, there is a thought and a theory that, okay, it's the Titans,
25:07and, you know, obviously, they still won the game.
25:10Didn't cover the spread.
25:11Still won the game.
25:12Not that big a deal.
25:14Lamar in an ankle boots, we're certainly going to monitor.
25:18Now, if he's on the injury report, middle of the week,
25:23or not practicing, he didn't practice last week,
25:26then it becomes more of a thing.
25:28This is what I'm not going to overreact until we get into the middle of the week.
25:34Zay Flowers was fantastic.
25:36Zay Flowers was outstanding.
25:38Somewhere, Miley Cyrus was going to write her name in the sand.
25:42Listen, I thought the way the Ravens played in the first half was great.
25:46This is obviously concerning, no question about it.
25:50I think that this is one of those where you have to ultimately wait and see.
25:54How about the last-place AFC North Cincinnati Bengals?
25:58They're now in last as they fell at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars,
26:02who lead the AFC South.
26:03And here's what I would say with regards to Jacksonville, right?
26:07If we're doing a shine-time power ranking,
26:12the Jacksonville Jaguars are the best team in the AFC.
26:16The Jacksonville Jaguars, I could make the case,
26:20and we talked earlier about 4-0 teams.
26:22The San Francisco 49ers, to me, are the best team in the NFL.
26:27I think the second-best team after four weeks,
26:31clearly on the shine-time eyeball test, the Jacksonville Jaguars.
26:36Trevor Lawrence was strong.
26:38Loved the way the line played.
26:40Loved the way Rodriguez ran it in.
26:42Lawrence to Thomas when it mattered the most.
26:45The defense made stops and tackles.
26:47The Brown play at the end when it mattered the most.
26:50Listen, Joe Burrow threw for a bunch of yards.
26:53Chase obviously got hurt.
26:55Higgins got all banged up.
26:56Doesn't matter.
26:58I think Jacksonville demands and deserves even more respect than people are giving the Jacksonville Jaguars.
27:05I view this team, as we speak, as clearly, and this is not disrespect to the 4-0 Kansas City
27:12Chiefs,
27:12but if you've watched Jacksonville play every single week,
27:16the one game they lost, they should have won against the Denver Broncos.
27:19The Jaguars, to me, the team to beat after four weeks in the AFC.
27:26The Bears beat the Jets in Chicago on Sunday.
27:30And apparently it was light work.
27:33It's kind of wild.
27:34Probably one of the easiest NFL games I didn't play it in.
27:36I'm not sore at all.
27:37So, it's great.
27:41Yeah, that's an indictment of Aaron Glenn.
27:45That's an indictment of the Jets.
27:47I want you to take a look at this board in terms of the Bears' first downs being greater than
27:54the total plays for the Jets.
27:58Sometimes stats lie.
28:00Other times, they not only speak the truth, they tell you everything you need to know about a team and
28:09a team's soul and a team's coach and a coaching staff.
28:14You saw the Chicago Bears have a game plan.
28:17We are going to demoralize the Jets.
28:21You saw a common guy absolutely just ram it down the Jets' throat.
28:27The Jets couldn't make a stop.
28:30They were awful in the trenches.
28:32They couldn't complete the forward pass.
28:35This was a complete and utter disgrace.
28:38And look, we said we're going to judge Aaron Glenn based upon in-game, how the Jets look, how you
28:46feel, and, ready for this concept, wins and losses, which matter when you're judging a coach.
28:55Aaron Glenn will never get past what happened in Week 2.
28:58That game was over.
28:59The Jets should be 2-2.
29:01They're not.
29:02They're 1-3.
29:04They have Cleveland coming up next.
29:06It's a home game at MetLife Stadium.
29:10Does anyone think the Jets are going to win that game?
29:13And that's a problem.
29:15And I'm telling you, if, in fact, the New York Jets lose to the Cleveland Browns, and this is a
29:233-1 first place Browns team with great young talent, defense that's been really solid.
29:29Deshaun Watson's doing a lot of good things.
29:32Todd Munkin has done an excellent job coaching.
29:34Aaron Glenn is officially dead man walking.
29:37There is, if they lose to Cleveland, and this becomes a losing streak, it's over.
29:44The only question is expiration date on the back of the milk carton.
29:48Is it going to be get fired on Monday?
29:50Is it going to be a couple weeks later?
29:53Or is it going to be on Black Monday when the season ends?
29:55Because you cannot survive this.
29:58Aaron Glenn has done nothing well as a head coach.
30:02And it starts with wins and losses.
30:05Also, when you have members of the opposition saying, that was easy, that is an indictment here on Jets football.
30:15But wait, there's more.
30:34I love college football.
30:36I love rivalry games.
30:38I love anything that matters in terms of history, tradition, and pageantry, and that P.J. Fleck celebration after the
30:47Gophers win over Michigan 20-14.
30:51P.J. Fleck going nuts with his team.
30:54Perfect.
30:56Absolutely perfect.
30:57I thought it was a terrific weekend in college football.
31:00I thought it was tremendous all the way around.
31:02How about our guy, Jeremiah Smith?
31:05That was unbelievable what he was able to do.
31:08The Heisman Trophy race and case, I think it's over.
31:13We're calling it, and we haven't even reached the middle of October yet.
31:17I mean, look at these numbers.
31:1911 catches.
31:21A couple of receiving touchdowns.
31:24206 receiving yards.
31:25This guy is unbelievable.
31:28I thought that was incredibly noteworthy, and I just think that right now everyone is trying to catch up and
31:34chase Jeremiah Smith, who we have said on numerous occasions, bar none, best player in college football.
31:41That was a ridiculously amazing performance, and the last two games that he has had, man, as majestic as it
31:49gets in the history of college football at the receiver position.
31:54Last but not least, the legendary Alex Ovechkin had something to share with his teammates this morning.
32:00This is going to be my last year.
32:04Like I'm pretty sure, for me, for my family, it's very important for you guys to know first.
32:12And, yeah, it's sad, but, you know, it is what it is.
32:23We have an unbelievable team this year, and, you know, 82 games left.
32:30Let's make a blast.
32:31Let's have fun and enjoy the moment because, you know, times fly.
32:37Yeah.
32:38It's hard, but let's enjoy it, and let's do some special things this year.
32:44All right?
32:47We're clapping for you, Alex.
32:49Greatest goal scorer of all time.
32:51One of my all-time favorite players in the Big Four sports in North America.
32:57He is unbelievable.
32:59He's also better than Sidney Crosby.
33:00I said it.
33:01If there's anyone who deserves this kind of farewell tour, it's our guy, the great Alex Ovechkin.
33:08By the way, give me the Falcons with the points tonight.
33:10That's the show.
33:11If you missed any portion of the show, just do what I do and re-watch the show over and
33:14over and over again.
