00:00The Road Transport Department has suspended MyE.G.Cindirian Berhad and Zetrix AI Berhad
00:07as collection agents effective 12.01am on October 5th.
00:12JPJ Director General AD Fadli Ramli said the decision followed consideration of both firms' compliance
00:18with their agreements and their unfulfilled obligations.
00:21All JPJ services previously offered through the MyEG group will be suspended from October 5th,
00:27though AD-assured services will continue through official and alternative channels.
00:32Driving theory test applications made through MyEG before October 5th can proceed,
00:37while new applications must be made through KPP test centres at driving institutes.
00:43Earlier today, The Edge quoted a Transport Ministry spokesman
00:46as confirming that Zetrix AI owes JPJ more than RM200 million.
00:51Zetrix AI, formerly MyEG Services Berhad,
00:55allegedly failed to remit money collected for road tax,
00:58driving licence renewals and traffic summonses.
01:01Singapore's Straits Times had reported that the funds were not transferred
01:05after Zetrix's three-year JPJ contract began in May 2023,
01:10with the outstanding amount exceeding RM200 million by end September.
01:16MyEG was appointed to provide online government services in 2000
01:20and rebranded as Zetrix AI in July 2025
01:23as it shifted towards global technology infrastructure.
