00:00This is what Transport Minister Lok Siew Fook has to say about those who want a physical

00:20copy of their driving licence starting next year.

00:24However, he did not specify the exact amount of the prospective fee.

00:30Lok also reiterated that digitalization efforts within the Road Transport Department would

00:34continue with further improvements to enhance the system.

00:38Lok said over 1 million transactions for road tax and licence renewals had been completed

00:43through the MyJPJ app since its launch two years ago.

00:46As of 31 October, we have recorded almost RM121 million.

00:53So, the use and efficiency of the people and the department is indeed significant.
