00:02But for me, it's Brock Purdy.
00:05And in almost any American city,
00:07when the quarterback of your football team
00:11is basically the Billy Badass of the league,
00:14that's the deal.
00:16That's the story.
00:17And it does make you feel like you can overcome things.
00:20Like that, I felt that yesterday in the football game.
00:24The Niner defense was already down bad
00:26and then started to become down worse
00:29in the game.
00:31D'Amador Lenore goes out
00:32and Dre Greenlaw goes out
00:33and the fatigue is setting in
00:36and the Cardinals are starting to have some success.
00:38And at all times,
00:40whenever they got within one score,
00:42you handed the ball to Purdy
00:43and he went,
00:44don't you damn worry about a thing.
00:45Boop, touchdown.
00:48And that is the way it's gone for him so far.
00:51We're three games in.
00:52I'm not really comfortable with things like MVP talk
00:54because we're only three games in.
00:56But right now to me,
00:58especially with Josh Allen
00:59and having a turnover-filled performance yesterday at home,
01:03I look at this and I go,
01:05there's a very short list of people right now
01:07that you could say are like,
01:10currently that dude in the NFL.
01:13Who's that guy?
01:14And again, I'm just talking about these three games
01:18because obviously the Josh Allens
01:20and the Patrick Mahomes of the world
01:21have a huge sort of leg up on Brock Purdy
01:24in a career conversation sort of a way
01:26or a fantasy football sort of a way.
01:30But right now in this three-game stint in the NFL,
01:35Brock Purdy is the guy.
01:37Over Josh Allen, over Patrick Mahomes,
01:39and over JSN, in my opinion.
01:41But they're all playing great.
01:42But he is the lead story right now.
01:46He is the dude.
01:47Even off of yesterday where he and the offense,
01:50I think they left a lot out there.
01:52Like there were a number of plays
01:54that they didn't do a good job of protecting Brock.
01:57And the one throw,
01:58the last play that Mike Evans actually played in the game,
02:01that was a really bad throw, risky throw.
02:04And if Evans is healthy,
02:05does he go up and compete for it?
02:07Maybe.
02:07But that was a bad throw.
02:08And you look at 12 incompletes
02:11and a lot of it was protection broke down.
02:13There weren't a lot of throws that Brock had
02:17that he didn't make.
02:18I thought that they did a good job, Arizona,
02:20of pressuring him and of mixing up the pressures.
02:22And I think the O-line had some difficulty.
02:25And Trent Williams also went out.
02:26And you look at the end of it,
02:28and other than the hook and lateral,
02:30which went for 80 yards for Debo,
02:33no catches, 80 yards receiving,
02:34he only threw for about 200 yards on the game.
02:37And so as much as the offense,
02:39you mentioned it,
02:40you need a touchdown, you get one.
02:42And they hummed in terms of points scored.
02:44There was a lot of plays out there that they left.
02:46I don't disagree with that.
02:48One other stat to bring up, though,
02:50before we go back to the phones.

02:54Zippo, Dippo, Sacks.
