00:55Now I would never call myself a Cowboys fan, but there's definitely players I
00:58love on those teams.
00:59And Michael Irvin is certainly one of them.
01:01And when Michael Irvin says this, I'm going, okay, let's, can we just, can we cool our jets
01:08just a little bit before these things get crazy and out of hand?
01:13This is the last thing the Cleveland Browns wanted.
01:17They didn't want him to win this game.
01:19They wanted to end this thing right there.
01:22I've never heard a team come out and say, he's going to start the first two games on the
01:26road.
01:26And reiterated after week one start, he's going to get at least one more start and
01:30then we'll see.
01:32This is the last thing they wanted.
01:34And it happened.
01:35He won the game.
01:35And then Deshaun Watson posts a pic of him saying, like, I got y'all again.
01:42Y'all thought y'all were getting rid of me.
01:44I cannot wait to see what this will be when he walks in that stadium this weekend.
01:49They're going to boo him straight off the bat.
01:53I don't care that you won one game that ain't going to change anything in Cleveland.
01:57It is interesting that your representation is a Browns thing.

02:39And then they really thought it after he opened up his mouth and stuck his foot in there after
02:43the Buffalo preseason, after a preseason game of all things, I can't believe it.
02:47So that that's what changed that a little bit.
02:50And, but yeah, I told you last week after Wednesday, I'm going, yeah, you know, I got it on pretty
02:54good authority that if he goes down there at Tampa and he plays terribly, they, they're not
02:58bringing him up here to upset all the fans.

03:01You played decent.
03:02He won.
03:02And when I say decent, it's not to take anything away, but you know, he made the mention of
03:08five touchdowns and 400 yards.
03:10I didn't need him to throw five touchdowns, 400 yards to beat Buffalo beat the Buccaneers.
03:14There may be moments in these games against certain quarterbacks where I need him to throw
03:20for 400 yards, 500 yards is a bit much, but honestly, to keep up with the Jaguars in that game,
03:26he might've needed to do that.

03:30You've had one pretty damn good performance.
03:33I don't know what your defense is going to pull in.
03:34It's still early yet.
03:36You've had a couple of bad performances with the running game.
03:39You had a passing game that was obviously so much better, but I think we're kind of getting
03:43ahead of ourselves to the point where some people just can't, they can't accept a win
03:48and can't enjoy a win because I think there is a group of fans.
03:53I don't think it's the biggest, but I do think that they are concerned that this will fool the Browns
04:00into making bad decisions for their future.
04:03This will fool the Browns into keeping him around or this will take us out of the running
04:08for a quarterback to end this whole thing.
04:10If it was a two game regular season and you were forced to make these decisions at gunpoint
04:16after that game and now they have to make a decision.
04:19Fortunately, it is a very long football season.
04:22You know, it, uh, especially we've had some that have dragged on and on and on.
04:26And so, you know, what are the odds we're even having a discussion like this in five weeks?

04:33Cause I kept hearing some people knocked down straw men yesterday that everybody's saying
04:38Deshaun Watson's healed and he's a new quarterback.
04:41And yeah, I had fun on social media about an extension, but you know, come on, let's get
04:46back down to reality here.
04:47That was not superstar Deshaun Watson that I coveted, you know, four years ago that played that way
04:55seven years ago or six years ago.
04:56That wasn't that guy that was very, honestly, it was very, what do we always say about quarterbacks
05:04when we want them to, not even, no, it was better than pedestrian.
05:07Cause he was accurate.
05:08He was very, very accurate.
05:10No, no.
05:11Effective.
05:11It was workmanlike and it was quarterback manager stuff.
05:15Game manager.
05:16And even, even if you think about it, like his runs back in the day, the Deshaun Watson that
05:21I wanted was explosive and was electric and could put a team on his back when the defense
05:28is bad or the offensive line is bad.
05:29He's incapable of doing that.
05:30Well, I thought even what he did yesterday, I'll take it a step further.
05:33I think what he did yesterday was, or on Sunday, it was probably better for his long-term future
05:38in the NFL.
05:39Now having to shorten the play calls and things like that, that's probably not good for the
05:43long-term future.
05:44Cause if you're going to be a backup, like, like I'm gonna tell you right now, Dylan Gabriel
05:48knows all those things said to him and is able to regurgitate it right there.

05:52That's what he's got going for him.
05:53That's the supercomputer stuff that people made fun of.

05:55He ain't got much else, but that's why he'll be in this league in eight years.

06:13I know he's dealt with a lot of injuries and can still, when he's confident in himself
06:17can still deliver an accurate ball.
06:19Like I saw, I saw, I think one turd of a throw back on Sunday and everything else I thought
06:24was pretty fine.
06:25Well, the one throw that he, he, it was a grounder where he wanted Judkins to come over
06:30and that was almost looked like it was intentional, but other than that, man, every throw and
06:34then the Jerry Judy one where he didn't come out of his break, who knows if that would
06:37have been accurate, but I mean, the turbo was all over it and thought that was, that
06:42was really not on Deshaun Watson.
06:44And so I think that some people are fearful for no reason.
06:48It's so, this is such a bizarre set of circumstances and such a bizarre set of sentences to say,
06:54like, I think there's some people who are worried that we'll be in bad situations because Deshaun
06:59Watson has done better and they want him gone as soon as possible.
07:03I still think you're probably going to get your wish.
07:05He would have to play like that and then better for a stretch of two months, a month and a
07:12half,
07:12two months.
07:12I heard Bull yesterday say, well, it starts to become a question if he plays really well
07:17this week.
07:18And I'm like, not really.
07:20I think he has to play well for a month and a half.
07:22Not that he can't have a bad game.
07:24He can have a bad game too.
07:25Every quarterback has a one touchdown, two interception game.
07:28Well, look at what it is.
07:29Like that, that's all possible.
07:31Now for Deshaun, for him, unfortunately, because of his track record, can't really have that
07:35game this week because if he has a one touchdown, two interception clunker this week and they
07:41lose to Carolina, then he's down to just the Pittsburgh game and that's it again.
07:45And then there's exactly so I take a game where it's like, Hey, we got to win.
07:50I think we should enjoy a win.
07:51I'm not willing to go too far, but I do want to know how people feel because, you know,
07:55it's been a day.
07:56And for those who, who dislike them, for those who are mad at the Browns for having them,
08:01you know, you kind of go into a hole and go, let, let those having fun with it.
08:04Let them have their fun.
08:05But I want to know, did you not enjoy it because of Watson?
08:09Did you, did you start to worry that it will talk them into bad decisions for the future?
08:13Cause I still look at the schedule and if you do want to play schedule game, all right,
08:16Baltimore, ain't no joke.
08:17The jets.
08:18I don't know what to make of the jets.
08:20They've had a couple of pretty decent ball games here over the last couple of weeks.
08:23The Pittsburgh Steelers, they were Jekyll and Hyde.
08:26And so were the Carolina Panthers.
08:28They were Jekyll and Hyde, which are coming up on Sunday.
08:30So I don't necessarily know what to make of a lot of these teams.
08:33I mean, again, new Orleans is coming up on the schedule in November.
08:36They're off to a better start than what people thought they were going to be.
08:38Look like they have a pretty legitimate offense where Chris Alave is good.
08:41Tyler Shuck can get it to them.
08:43Can they stay healthy?
08:44Can they do some things?
08:45They might be a punchy football team.
08:46Like I look at their schedule.
08:47It never ends up being the way we think it's going to be where it's going to be this easy
08:52schedule.
08:52I don't think you need to fear that the schedule is going to be so easy.
08:56It's going to talk people into bad situations, but I hate saying it.
