01:59300 yards they put up 27 points another game-winning drive do we feel like this offense actually found

02:52close right that was the closest thing we've gotten dude you were down two touchdowns like it was a good
02:56thing you scored 17 unanswered before halftime or else that could have gone similar to Jacksonville in
03:02week one so it was you know more so needed out of Watson last week versus it being a true

03:09complete game on of him so there is just so many different ways to look at this the only thing

03:15did spook me a little bit was the whole right side of the offensive line thing it obviously still does
03:20scare me because it's not like Titus Howard is some crazy upgrade over DeJuan Jones at least yet this
03:26season but I do feel a little bit better that you've at least got your main starting five going out

03:31today yeah I mean it definitely helps in that aspect I just because it's tough because part of
03:37me does feel like I looked at it and okay they found something real like getting Casey involved in the
03:40way that they did yeah they getting him up over 100 yards like yeah sure that's a little bit of
03:44Titans defense but we know how Casey gets the ball like a lot of it's usually behind the lines he

03:50actually getting targets down the field well Jake would this make you feel better like like Deshaun's
03:53playing like a vet quarterback right now like even for the people that even for the people that
03:57don't want to say that he's playing good even for the people that don't want to say you know
04:01Tennessee was a good game for Deshaun could you at least meet me at he looked like a vet quarterback
04:07against Tennessee against Pittsburgh though he was carving him up a little bit that second quarter
04:13three straight touchdowns that's the only time that that's happened for the Browns this year
04:17that's got to make you feel a smidge better it does make me feel a smidge I see now the

04:22though it's like the fullest confidence of this game too because it you did go out there and score
04:28three straight touchdowns in the first half and then we know what the offense turned into in the
04:31second half yeah it lulled it lulled I mean this game ended 27 to 24 and right they had three
04:36straight
04:36touchdown drives in the second quarter yeah yeah you know where 21 of those came from Jake I just look
04:42at it you know maybe you sprinkle in a little of what worked in that Thursday night football matchup
04:47because you obviously found something offensively with those three straight touchdowns and then you found a
04:52little something offensively even though it was another slow start last week against Tennessee
04:56like this is still a young team with a first-time head coach and a first-time offensive coordinator
05:01that is still trying to come together kind of on the fly a little bit I get that we're in
05:06week eight now
05:07and I just look at this hopefully you've you found enough offensively in your good moments where you
05:13can continue to do enough today to beat Pittsburgh I just like I want to believe in a lot of
05:20the
05:20things that I've watched in that offense and that like it is good enough right and that so many of
05:24the things that they have are tenable and then it's I turn around it's like okay well you know
05:29that most of the ways you've been getting Casey the ball involved like when I go back to Tennessee
05:32it's not the way that you did it intended like Tennessee was him running routes down the field and
05:36consistently like yeah I love it but does that work against a different defense you don't man listen
05:41like Pittsburgh secondary is not anything to be terrified of so I'm not saying you can't do it
05:46against Pittsburgh that's what they tore up last time but there are just so many things like oh
05:50the run game got going but the auxiliary run game you know where they were throwing to the backs and
05:55you were using KC out of the back field right it might feel a little bit gimmicky maybe is the

06:00for it how they've gotten this offense going I just don't know that I'm confident that I actually saw
06:05something real last week okay that's that's the problem is and they can prove it to me this week
06:10but I don't know that I'm watching the exact same offense that I've been watching like that offense I just
06:16watch I don't know if that's the same offense I've been watching for the first seven weeks or six
06:20weeks of the season or if they actually uncovered it like they just you know got lifted up by the
06:26Titans or whether or not they actually found something concrete and were like hey maybe Deshaun found a
06:31little bit extra confidence maybe the run game did start going that opened so many things up now is
06:35that something they can latch on to for the rest of the year and build off of or is the
06:39offense that you
06:40know scored 13 points against the Baltimore Ravens more of what I should be expecting in this game
06:44because again the three straight touchdown drives against Pittsburgh too is it's great it also makes
06:50me feel like going into this game you could be looking at and probably expecting a much different
06:54game script to be coming out like I would not be expecting to be leading by a boatload coming out

06:59the first half sure I also wonder you know speaking of just trying to find things that you found
07:04offensively in these matchups last week in Tennessee it was tied for the most amount of times the
07:11Browns went under center this year and it still wasn't much it was just like 20 percent of their
07:16snaps but they look darn good doing it that's when they look the best running the football
07:20Deshaun actually had a couple of nice throws off of it now again that's been a contention point with
07:25Deshaun he says that he doesn't mind it you know but but we know that he prefers to operate under

07:31shotgun I wonder since you found a little bit of success going under the center last week against
07:36Tennessee is that something that you could replicate today against Cam Hayward and against TJ Y I know

07:53coaches who are currently in this league that think hey the Browns know how to fix this run game the

08:03with them and go under center a little bit more it's what Schweitzer wants to do because it's what
08:07worked with Jackson and Henry and Baltimore I mean and you clearly saw that it worked right
08:11like a Deshaun and it worked for here for us with with Quinshawn and Samson but I mean at the

08:18you got an extra blocker in front of Quinshawn you get him going downhill like that part of it did
