00:00Hello there, good evening. Another windy end to the day. Still some rain in the forecast,
00:05but this is all before high pressure builds as we head towards Sunday, bringing much calmer
00:10conditions. For the time being though, it's still quite cloudy and wet towards the south
00:15of England and Wales before this band of rain eventually clears away. Still a fair few showers
00:20crossing their way across Scotland, perhaps pushing into coasts of Northern Ireland and
00:24northwest England. But on the whole, much of the UK will turn much drier by the time
00:29we reach Sunday. Still quite blustery. Wind's perhaps starting to ease a little bit across
00:33the south, but it's across southern areas of England and Wales where it's still going to
00:36continue to feel quite warm, quite muggy, perhaps a little bit chillier under clearer skies, but
00:42where it's still going to remain fairly windy and still some rain on the cards. That should
00:46hold temperatures up basically between 10 to 14 degrees Celsius. Now heading into Sunday,
00:53we do have high pressure buildings, so for most it's going to be a much drier day settled
00:57with some sunshine, even across Scotland, even though it could be quite a wet start with
01:01showers continuing for a time. By the time we reach the afternoon, it should be dry with
01:05sunny spells developing here also. Not only that, but the winds will start to calm down
01:10as well, perhaps still a little bit breezy around some northeastern coasts, but for most
01:14as that high pressure builds, much lighter winds and temperatures will come down a notch compared
01:19to what we saw this afternoon. But actually in the lighter winds, more sunshine around,
01:23it's going to feel rather pleasant in the sunshine, not quite as muggy either, so feeling a little
01:28bit more pleasant compared to what we had this afternoon. So temperatures widely in the mid
01:32to high teens, but just about pushing into the low 20s across eastern and southeastern parts
01:37of England. Now for most to finish off the day, it should remain mostly dry and settled,
01:42but we will start to see another change. I'm afraid it's going to start to turn a little bit
01:46warm and muggy once again. And towards the northwest, cloud thickening up here and also some spells
01:51of rain by the time we reach Monday morning. So another rather wet start and quite windy
01:55start across Scotland with some heavy rain expected across the hills. But to the south
02:00of this, it should remain dry with some clearer spells, perhaps the odd fog patch developing
02:04through the course of the morning, but this should clear away quite quickly through Monday
02:08morning as the morning progresses. And then it's a bit of a north-south split, quite wet
02:13and windy across the north, but plenty of dry weather across the central and southern areas
02:18of England and Wales. The best of the sunshine likely staying around across the far south
02:22and southeast. And any rain across the far north should eventually ease away into the
02:27afternoon, but it's likely still to remain quite cloudy with some spots of rain and drizzle
02:31in places. And notice the temperatures as well starting to climb up once again on Monday,
02:36pushing into the low, perhaps the mid-20s for some areas, and the humidity will start to
02:41rise through the course of the day. So it's going to be another quite warm and muggy end to the
02:45day, similar to what we had through the afternoon. Still fairly breezy across the far north-west
02:50as well, which may offset the temperatures a little bit. But actually for most in the
02:54coming days, progressing into next week, high pressure sticks around, which means mostly
02:58dry, settled conditions. Though notice at times across the far north-west, some fronts
03:02do sweep in here. But high pressure is never too far away, so even if we do see some rain
03:07across the far north and north-west, there'll also be some bright interludes. Also still some
03:12fairly warm temperatures expected, certainly for the first part of the week, likely remaining
03:17into the mid-20s degrees Celsius. So well above average for this point in September.
03:23So it's going to feel warm. We've got high pressure dominating, which means there'll be
03:26lots of dry, settled conditions. Just a bit of uncertainty as to how long that warm weather
