00:00Hello. You might have noticed a bit more of an autumnal feel this morning. Temperatures
00:05got down to minus 0.2 degrees Celsius last night, but by this afternoon it's going to
00:10feel like summer again. Plenty more dry, settled weather to come. Perhaps a bit cloudy across
00:16parts of Scotland, the odd shower filtering in through here, but otherwise it's going
00:20to be a mostly dry day. Plenty of bright, if not sunny spells by the afternoon. Temperatures
00:26more towards average for this point of the year. Still feeling quite pleasant in the
00:29sunshine, certainly across the south, where temperatures could reach into the low 20s,
00:34but we've got a fairly decent northerly breeze, so that's going to make things feel that little
00:38bit cooler around any exposed coasts, certainly across eastern parts of England.
00:44Now, tonight, still remaining fairly dry. If there is any cloud, that will soon clear away.
00:50Plenty of clear skies overnight, so that does mean temperatures will also soon be dipping
00:55away, likely pushing into the low single figures once again around rural areas under the clearest
01:00skies. Perhaps a little bit more cloud across parts of Scotland, the odd very light bit of
01:05rain, but otherwise another dry night to come. Most towns and cities between 9 to 11 degrees
01:10Celsius, so it's mostly those rural spots where we'll see the lowest temperatures.
01:15Then again on Sunday, high pressure, still very much dominating the weather, so dry, settled,
01:21perhaps a bit less in the way of cloud tomorrow, so that will help temperatures climb that little bit
01:26higher. Still some patchy cloud across parts of Scotland, perhaps the very odd light shower
01:31around some coastal areas of Scotland, but for most it is going to be another dry day. Temperatures
01:37improved perhaps by a degree or two, but still the highest temperatures across the far south of
01:41England there. Highs reaching 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, maybe 24 degrees Celsius if we see enough
01:48sunshine. And even across the north, temperatures pushing into the high teens there, so in sheltered
01:53spots and in the bright sunny weather, it should feel rather pleasant for this point of the year.
01:58Now high pressure clings on towards the early part of next week, but then low pressure starts to take
02:05hold. We start to see variations of low pressure moving in from the west and also eventually from
02:11the south towards the end part of the week, so we do just need to keep an eye on this
02:14area of low
02:15pressure. It could bring some fairly wet weather, also perhaps some slightly stronger winds across
02:19parts of the west and southwest. Still a lot to play for over the next few days, so likely to
02:24be some
02:24changes, but nevertheless there is going to be a change and we're likely to see a bit more unsettled weather
02:29towards the end of the week. Unfortunately though, the downside to that, as I know a lot of us have
02:34been
02:34looking for some rain, is that the humidity levels are also set to rise, so it'll be a bit wet
02:39at times
02:40and also still fairly humid with those warm nights making a comeback as well. But of course for more
