00:05So I'll be showing you a few ways to fix if TikTok is not working on PC and troubleshoot

00:23Now, the first thing I would recommend doing is a full clean reinstallation of TikTok.
00:27So to do that from your desktop, you want to come down to your search box in the taskbar
00:31at the bottom.
00:32In here, type remove programs and then open up add or remove programs underneath best match.
00:39Once you've done that, you're going to get a window open like this.
00:42What you can do is use the search box at the top and type TikTok into here.
00:46And once it comes up, if you just come to the right hand side, click onto the three dots and
00:50you can go ahead and install from here.
00:52Once it's fully uninstalled, what you can do is come back to your search box, type store
00:57and then open up the Microsoft store underneath best match.
01:00Once the store is opened, use the search box at the top, type TikTok, give it a search.
01:05And what you can do is of course, click the app and reinstall it onto your computer.
01:09If any reason it's still not working.
01:12Another thing you can try is if you actually come to your desktop, come back down to your
01:16search box.
01:17And what you want to do is type view network connections and then open this up underneath
01:22best match.
01:23Now, once you've done that, you want to find your internet connection.
01:26So mine's this wifi connection here.
01:29And what you want to do is click to select it, right click to bring up this menu and then
01:34come and click onto properties.
01:36Now, once you've clicked onto properties, you're going to get a window open like this.
01:40From here, scroll through the list until you find internet protocol version four, click
01:44to select it and then come down and click onto properties.
01:48If you come down to this section, it's going to say obtain DNS server address automatically.
01:53What you want to do is click to use the following DNS server addresses.
01:58And in the preferred DNS server, you want to type 8.8.8.8.
02:04In alternative, you want to put 8.8.4.4.
02:08Now, what that's going to do is connect to the Google DNS server, which is a more secure,
02:14reliable server.
02:15So you can just click OK at this point, close this down, and I would recommend restarting
02:19your computer.
02:20Once that's done, TikTok should now load without any issues.
02:23So that is how to fix TikTok not working on PC.
