00:00with Oklahoma taking on Michigan this year in the big house.
00:04And we talked about these stinky lines, and last week it was Florida State.
00:08You know, they were, like, begging you to take SMU, I believe, in that game.
00:14And, you know, it ended up playing out a lot tighter
00:16than probably what most people would have thought.
00:19Michigan, I think this line was down to three or four.
00:22I'm seeing it now at five, five and a half, Tim, with Oklahoma coming in there.
00:28How crazy is that, and should this be more,
00:31or is this something where, despite last week's performance,
00:35they know something that maybe we don't?
00:38You guys are going to get to know me real well over this year
00:41and how I like to bet.
00:42And this is the game that I stare at, and I'm like,
00:45nobody out there is going to want to take Michigan after their escape,
00:52however you want to define it.
00:54I'm sure you guys were enjoying it earlier in the week discussing that game
00:59and how it finished and how fortunate Michigan was to get that victory
01:02against Western Michigan.
01:04You know, I look at one thing here.
01:06You know, these sportsbooks put out game of the year lines,
01:09and they put them out, you know, and you can bet on them.
01:11And people always ask me, why do you bet game of the year lines?
01:13Well, sometimes if you feel like you've got an edge
01:15and you think a game will move,
01:17then you end up having a really good number in your back pocket.
01:20Oklahoma was the underdog over the offseason,
01:23and now they're a five-and-a-half-point favorite at Michigan.
01:25So, you know, this is going to be one of those games
01:28where I'm going to play off of the overreaction.
01:30Now, it doesn't always come home.
01:32Last week, I'll give you an example.
01:34I took Arkansas State plus 11-and-a-half against Memphis,
01:37playing off a bit of an overreaction of what we saw in Week 0 of Memphis' win.
01:41It was 28-24, and then Memphis scores two late touchdowns,
01:45and they get the cover as well.
01:47But, you know, for me, my process, looking at this, Michigan at home,
01:51nobody wants to play on them.
01:53I'm going to take the five-and-a-half here, and we'll see.
01:55You know, I also think you can wait a little bit and see.
01:57If you're like me, and I know you're two Ohio State guys,
02:00you're probably not looking to bet on Michigan.
02:02But if you see this game, watch it, you know,
02:06as we get closer and closer and see what this ultimately does.
02:09You know, we had a sportsbook director on our show last night on VEASAN, guys,
02:12and they were letting us know nobody is betting on Michigan in this game.
02:17He was joking that he's going to have to bust out some of his Fab Five gear
02:21in order to cheer for this.
02:23So, look, this is one of those spots, Bobby, that we talked about.
02:26Look, last week, depending on when you bet it, you might have won on SMU,
02:32but you might have lost depending on when you bet that game.
02:36You know, for me here in this spot, I'm going to bet on the overreaction.
02:40I trust Kyle Whittingham.
02:42I know it hasn't been pretty with Bryce Underwood,
02:44but I'm going to take the five and a half.
02:46You also look at this real quickly.
02:48Look at the total, guys.
02:49I mean, you're looking at a 43 and a half total.
02:51So, the points are at more premium here in this game.
02:54So, you can make fun of me all you want next week if Oklahoma comes out
02:58and rolls them, you know, 31 to nothing, and you're like,
03:01I told you guys so.
03:02I told you that they stink.
03:03So, I'll take Michigan and play off the overreaction
03:06of about a touchdown move from one week to the next.
