00:00Coach, let's head to the state of Alabama.

00:02Oklahoma's in town to take on the Crimson Tide, a massive game,

00:05which could see the loser, if it is Oklahoma, maybe out of that playoff picture.

00:09But if they do win, really ramps up a lot.

00:11Alabama's been very good outside of the game against Florida State.

00:14They're home this week, Coach.

00:15That look-out line was over a touchdown.

00:17Now as we see it on game day, sixes to six-and-a-halves with a low total of 45-and-a-half.

00:22Mateer going to play quarterback against Simpson.

00:24What are we looking at between this matchup, between these two coaches?

00:26You know, the thing about me is I've coached at Tuscaloosa.

00:31I've coached in Athens.

00:32I've coached in Oklahoma.

00:33Another tough place to play.

00:35The winningest home field record going on right now.

00:39The longest home streak at Alabama.

00:41And I just think it's kind of a one-dimensional offense at Alabama.

00:46A top offense against a great defense.

00:49And I just think, Ty Simpson, that he doesn't turn the ball over.

00:53They're going to have to depend on him.

00:54But he's got two great wide receivers that make big plays.

00:58Oklahoma's kind of a one-dimensional team, too.

01:00They don't run it very well.

01:02And then it comes back to which quarterback is the one that will be the deciding factor.

01:06John Teer has been good, but he hasn't been great.

01:08I think Ty Simpson's been great.

01:10I think he'll be the difference in this football game.

01:13A well-fought football game.

01:15But I give it to Alabama.

01:17If you were an Oklahoma side coach, what can they do to potentially score points

01:23and obviously maybe pull off the upset?

01:26What can Matier and that offense do, especially having an extra week of preparation?

01:32Well, the thing that they've got to do is just an explosive play.

01:35I think Alabama's given up some explosive plays this year.

01:38They need to not be afraid to throw downfield.

01:40When you've got to have an extra touchdown or a big play, go downfield, go over top.

01:46Of course, that must go along with a running attack.

01:49But they don't run it real good.

01:50They run it better than Alabama.

01:52Alabama's at about $1.12 a game right now rushing the football.

01:56Oklahoma's a little better.

01:57But Oklahoma's going to need to mix a big play or two in.

02:01And then John Matier is a little better runner than Ty Simpson.

02:04If he can add to their rushing attack running the football,

02:07it gives Oklahoma a chance to pull off the upset.
