The Texas Senate race is heating up as Trump-linked MAGA Inc. makes its first major midterm investment, putting $10 million behind Republican Ken Paxton’s campaign against Democrat James Talarico.  The money will fund television and digital advertising across Texas, with the race already viewed as a closely contested battle. Paxton previously secured Trump’s backing and defeated Sen. John Cornyn in the Republican primary.  MAGA Inc. says its ads will target Talarico’s positions on taxes and rural hospitals while promoting Paxton’s proposals on the child tax credit, medical expenses and first-time homebuyers.  Trump also made his intentions clear this week, saying: “It’s my money.
