00:09lossless cut is a free video cutting software that allows you to cut out sections of videos
00:15and then export them out quickly without re encoding them which in turn makes it very
00:22fast and easy to export out large video files in a very very short time so over here I'm in
00:30the
00:31website where I can download the lossless cut application so you have to go over here on to
00:37github.com slash mifi slash lossless does cut and then you'll get on to the github page for lossless
00:45cut so I'm just going to download out this software so I'm just going to scroll down over here you
00:51can
00:51see all the features of the software right here and this is what I'm going to click I'm using
00:56Microsoft Windows but you can follow along with the lesson for Mac and Linux as well so I'm just
01:02going to go around on to Windows and then click on this so now once I do that it'll download
01:09out the
01:10free executable file as you can see right here so I'm just going to fast forward the download process
01:16and you can see that the download is almost complete now and it's completed so here's the exe file right
01:23here so let me just go ahead and show it in folder and here in my download folder there's lossless
01:30cut
01:30win if I were to double click on this what happens is that it does not open up the installer
01:36but the
01:37application opens directly so you can see that the application opened right here so you do not actually
01:43need to install the software but what you may want to do is just install just make it available in
01:52this
01:52start menu so what you have to do is you have to manually keep it in program files and then
01:57we're
01:57going to do exactly that so for that first of all I'm going to copy out the application right here
02:05and
02:05then I'm going to go on to my C Drive right here then I'm going to go to program files
02:11and then what I'm
02:12going to do here is create a new folder and I'm going to name is it loss less cut you
02:20can rename
02:20it however you want but I'm just going to manually paste this out right here just like this I'm just
02:25going to continue with the administrator privileges so what I have to do now is keep this on the start
02:33menu so I'm just going to create a shortcut for this one right here so it says do you want
02:38to create
02:38a shortcut it'll be placed on desktop so I'm just going to press yes and close this out and close
02:44this out as well so on my desktop there's the lossless cut shortcut so I'm just going to go
02:49around and rename this out to just lossless cut and then what I want to do is pin it to
02:54start so
02:55I'm just going to right click on this and then over here you have an option to pin it to
03:00start so now
03:01once you go to start menu you can see that lossless cut is here as if you've installed it I'm
03:06also going to
03:07keep it right here so that it is there on my task bar and then I can access it whenever
03:13I want so if
03:14you guys learn something as always and as always please like comment share and subscribe
