00:00Is Kurt Cignetti right, coach?
00:02The Big Ten is right now just head and heels above the Southeastern Conference?
00:08Well, if we're talking championship football, the answer is yes.
00:12Because not only has the Big Ten won three in a row,
00:16the SEC hasn't played in a championship game in those three years.
00:20Now, if you're looking at the strength of the two conferences
00:23and you're comparing them from top to bottom,
00:26I still might lean a little bit to the SEC.
00:29And from a parity standpoint,
00:31because the number of teams in that league that can beat the top team,
00:37I think is a bigger number.
00:40With that being said,
00:42it's going to be fascinating to see the impact of the ninth conference game in the SEC.
00:49You are guaranteeing eight more losses to that conference.
00:54Eight more losses are going to find themselves.
00:56And it's like Russian roulette.
00:58Where those bullets land is anybody's guess.
01:03So it is going to be a very interesting year for the SEC
01:06as they try to climb back into championship-level football,
01:09as well as manage eight more losses spread about no one knows.
