00:01We've just learned that the young child they are looking for is about two months old and is a boy.
00:08We know that his mother and his sister were found floating in the water yesterday
00:14after emergency services were called about quarter past eleven
00:18after a passerby discovered a car that was still running and had been completely abandoned.
00:24We have also learned that the police don't believe anyone else is involved in this situation.
00:31We have heard from police today and they have said they will continue searching
00:38despite these very windy conditions.
00:41They are challenging conditions but they will continue to search.
00:45This is what they had to say a little bit earlier today.
00:49This is a tragic set of circumstances and as you can appreciate
00:52there is an active search underway and we have investigators examining the full circumstances
00:58so I can't make any specific comment.
01:00What I can say is that despite the weather today which is not good
01:05the searching is continuing for the infant.
01:09There are no indications at this point of any specific location to search
01:14so the CFS, SES and police and volunteers are doing an exceptional job to try and locate the small child.
01:23Police are also still searching for anyone who may have dash cam vision
01:27or may have seen a white Isuzu MUX.
01:31That is the car that was found abandoned and they are trying to figure out the movements in the lead
