00:03Hello Queensland and Northern Territory. It's Saturday the 25th of July and this is your
00:07weather update for the week ahead. We have multiple days of very light showers across
00:13the northeast of the state. We have some strong wind warnings for tomorrow which is Sunday and
00:20potentially into Monday as well along the northern coasts. But other than that we have some pretty
00:26stable weather I suppose, especially in these interior parts. Okay so let's have a breakdown
00:32day by day. So this is starting off on the Sunday. We've got not a lot of rainfall falling on
00:40land.
00:41This is Monday. It starts in around the Cairns region. Potential showers across here in the northeast.
00:48Similar for Tuesday, similar for Wednesday and for Thursday. Thursday we're starting to get rain
00:55up in the very northern tip of the NT. Same for Friday and then it clears by Saturday. Again
01:03that rain around the Cairns region. So relatively stable this week. Some cooler temperatures I think
01:09are on the way for what we've been experiencing comparatively to the last few weeks possibly.
01:15So let's have a little breakdown. First off this is just the wind showing you for tomorrow, so 40 to
01:2163 kilometers an hour and that will hang out into Monday as well but it definitely reduces.
01:30So that's just why there's some wind warnings, marine wind warnings around there. Okay let's have a look
01:36now at Cairns, their forecast. So this is the light scattered showers on Sunday, three mils on Monday,
01:44four on Tuesday and then clearing out towards the end of the week for the weekend to be four mils
01:50and
01:501.6 on Sunday. Spraying conditions are very mixed bag for the week. I think largely depending on wind
01:59direction and temperature. So for example Monday quite poor spray conditions across the day,
02:05fog risk is there. Same for Tuesday but it clears by Wednesday and Thursday. Friday and then I think
02:13Saturday they drop back again as that rain comes in and picks up the wind quite a bit. So there's
02:18a
02:18possibility of a marine wind warning again towards next weekend for the northeast coast potentially up
02:26into the north coast as well. Okay so that's the update for this week. We go into ENSO this week

02:42Madden-Julian oscillation which are quite important for dominating the weather that's experienced up
