00:02It is Sunday the 2nd of August and this is your weekly weather update for Victoria and South
00:07Australia. We have a front that's moved through South Australia today on Sunday and moves into
00:12Victoria tomorrow Monday but sort of overnight. That front is delivering a little bit of rain,
00:18a little bit of wind but nothing major. We then have high pressure that moves over Tuesday,
00:22Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for the most part bringing calm settled weather, cool mornings,
00:27lovely sunny days, some showers in some areas and then on Friday in South Australia, Saturday in
00:33Victoria the next front arrives with a bit more rain and a bit more wind to it so let's have
00:38a look day
00:39by day. Okay starting here this is Sunday this is the front that moved through the south of South
00:44Australia and then this is Monday we can see it deliver in Victoria but the system currently in
00:51the projections is sitting a little bit south so it's not delivering a lot of rainfall to the mainland.
00:57Tuesday we've got a little bit more rain from it just to the east of Victoria so 5 to 10
01:02mils but
01:02the rest of the two states is nice and dry. So Wednesday we can see this high pressure system
01:07has established itself so some cool mornings on the way. This is the Wednesday morning minimum
01:13temperatures so 0 to 5 degrees across wide bits of Victoria and on eastern side of South Australia.
01:21Then let's go back here we've got Thursday, calm and stable, Friday that front is starting to establish
01:28itself across the southern coast of South Australia but it's really on Saturday where it starts to
01:35deliver a lot more rainfall so 5 to 10 mils across the south here and even in to the western
01:42border of
01:43Victoria but then Sunday it's when it moves more and establishes itself in Victoria. So 25 to 50 mils
01:50in the ranges but for the rest of the state anywhere between sort of 2 and 10 mils. So not
01:55very severe
01:57rainfall but there's a good amount of rain on the way which is some good news. Okay let's have a
02:02quick
02:02look at Horsham which is right here sort of on the western side of Victoria. They're not getting a lot
02:10of rain from that front on Monday as we said it's not coming up far north so 0.8 mils.
02:15Showers across
02:16Tuesday through to Friday as well as low minimum temperatures but nice sunny days and then Saturday
02:226 mils, Sunday 6 mils. So see there's not a lot of rain in that system just depending on where
02:29you're
02:29located. If we open this up though we can see that there's not super strong winds associated with it
02:35either and then by Monday it seems to clear out in Horsham when we get some more fog again. Okay
02:41so
02:42that's the story for South Australia and Victoria. Two systems, one at the start of the week, one on the
02:49weekend with sort of 10 to 15 mils along a lot of these coastal regions, 25 to 50 mils in
02:57the ranges
02:58and for the rest of the states just showers anywhere between sort of 0 and 5 mils on the way.
03:04Have a great week, we will see you next time.
