00:02I'm a super emotional person.
00:07I love crying though. It makes me feel kind of good.
00:12I one time cried because ASAP Rocky doesn't like me.
00:16He's never met me, so I don't know that he doesn't like me.
00:19I really, I was just drunk, so I was crying into a toilet.
00:22They were like, ASAP Rocky's in my boyfriend.
00:25One time I cried after I spilled a nice latte that I made that tasted really good
00:29and I only had two sips of.
00:31I'll cry if someone does a really good vocal run.
00:40It's just like better than crying because I just feel like I got it all out.
00:47That was great.
00:49I had this one boss who hated emotions.
00:52Crying is the stupidest, most embarrassing thing you could ever be caught doing.
00:56She'd talk about it all the time.
00:58There's nothing more uncomfortable than watching somebody leak from their face.
01:02So one time she was giving me a lot of crap for doing nothing but being awesome at my job.
01:06So I cried on her.
01:08Coffee and work, those are my emotions.
01:13I want to talk more about crying.
01:14I mean, if you're going to talk about crying, you might as well not do it alone.
01:17So who better than a friend and a therapist?
01:19Yes.
01:20Hey, I'm here with Dr. Jane, a doctor, and Matteo, a man full of rage.
01:28And?
01:28A comedian.
01:29And?
01:30Super gay.
01:31Single.
01:32Oh, and single.
01:33When was the last time you guys cried?
01:34My cousin and I were on the train making fun of Kate Winslet and Titanic.
01:39So specific.
01:40And I was laughing so hard I was sobbing.
01:42Right.
01:42And then the other time I cried was like a year and a half ago my dad left my mom.
01:47My sister called and she was like, dad left mom.
01:49And then I just started crying.
01:50Do you think it's immature to cry?
01:52No.
01:52I mean, I'm Italian so I'm used to people crying all the time.
01:55You have to pick and choose your moments because sometimes if you cry in the wrong time and
02:00the wrong place, you'll do yourself in.
02:02We both worked together on another show and we cried on set.
02:06Because?
02:06I was just like overwhelmed.
02:08So that was crying to release the stress and the pressure.
02:11Yeah.
02:11Well that makes sense.
02:12And I wasn't like, look at my tears, everybody feel bad for me.
02:15I was more like, just like, I just need to like cry and do my thing.
02:18Yeah.
02:18And did you feel better after?
02:20Yeah, I definitely felt better afterwards.
02:21So do you think it's more damaging for a woman to be seen crying in public or a man?
02:27Um, I think if a woman's crying in public, it's more like, I'm not saying that this is
02:31right, but I'm just saying that more people are likely to be like, ah, she's crying.
02:35But if a man's crying, it's like, fuck, something happened.
02:38Right.
02:39Absolutely.
02:40How do you guys feel about politicians crying?
02:42Like Obama recently cried at the press conference for gun control.
02:45Yeah.
02:46And some people thought that that was calculated and other people just thought it was kind of
02:49like, not chill to cry, like he should hold it together.
02:52I think a politician, like when Obama was crying there, that that was his pain.
02:57And that's the reality of what we're living with.
02:59And it's appropriate that he can be open and honest, as you were saying, and real about
03:04what a sad state of affairs the situation is and the country's in to be able to deliver
03:10that and not window dress it to make it anything other than what it actually is.
03:14And that's like, stop crying.
03:15But it's also funny that we're talking about like those rules of crying.
03:17I mean, that's so weird that we're implementing any sort of imaginary rules on the human condition.
03:23Don't you think that's a little dumb?
03:25I mean, but that's all society is.
03:27I know.
03:27It's a bunch of made up rules.
03:28Including like, the color blue is for boys, the color pink is for girls.
03:31I mean, it's like all these dumb rules.
03:32It's all dumb.
03:33Absolutely.
03:34How would you react if I just started weeping right now uncontrollably?
03:37And I'd be like, weird.
03:38So here on Report Card we like to grade our topics.
03:41So today we want to grade public crying.
03:44The act of crying in public where everyone can see you.
03:48But we're not going to go through those regular ABCs.
03:51We're going to have our own grading system.
03:53So A is for all day.
03:56B is for a bit of boo-hoo.
03:58C is keep it to yourself.
04:01D is don't plan on it.
04:03And F is stay dry.
04:05Okay.
04:06And we'll have this amount of time for you to answer.
04:11Oh, okay.
04:15Can I...
04:16Yeah, I know what I can do.
04:18It's just one grade, right?
04:20Yeah.
04:20Just one of those grades.
04:22One of these.
04:22Whichever one you think.
04:27I love crying.
04:30Crying.
04:31Crying is what I love.
04:33Crying is fun.
04:34Crying is good.
04:36Crying all day long.
04:38Ooh, crying.
04:39I cry all the time.
04:42Cause I'm single.
04:44I can make anyone cry.
04:47Yeah.
04:48Can you teach us how to do a three-part harmony?
04:51So we'll all say one line that's like, something like,
04:53I love crying.
04:54I love crying.
04:56I love crying.
04:58I love crying.
04:59I love crying.
04:59And social hour is done, guys.
05:02Oh, boy.
05:02Now we gotta show our grades.
05:05Okay.
05:06So...
05:06I give it a B for boo-hoo when you want to.
05:11I give it a B.
05:12Be yourself.
05:13That's good.
05:14And your B's beautiful.
05:16I did a block letter.
05:17It was a little sloppy.
05:19It's a little sloppy.
05:19You're a doctor so I don't feel bad giving you criticism.
05:21Okay.
05:21It's a little small, huh?
05:22I chose all day just to be extreme.
05:25Yeah.
05:25Yeah.
05:26I don't even think I could cry all day.
05:28I cry constantly.
05:29Right.
05:29When do we want to move to tears?
05:31Yeah.
05:31This has been so great.
05:32I could cry.
05:33It was such a good time.
05:34Yay!
05:34Thank you for being here.
05:36Thank you so much for watching this video.
05:45I hope you guys liked us talking about crying.
05:47Specifically crying in public.
05:50If you did, like this video, please.
05:52And then I'll stop crying.
05:53And check out our other episodes.
05:55We talk about all this stuff.
05:57Herpes, relationships, witches, sex, cool stuff.
06:01Myself.
06:02I look in a mirror.
06:04Talk about my vagina.
