00:00There's no doubt that social media has changed the way we live our lives.
00:04Social media can also be very dangerous in relationships.
00:08Like there's the bad side, where you think whatever you say online doesn't matter.
00:11No, baby, you're misunderstanding.
00:14When I said I was going to give her an eggplant, I meant a real eggplant.
00:17If I wanted to do a penis, I would do eight.
00:20Equal, equal, equal, equal, equal, equal, equal, equal, and a D.
00:24Because you know I'm big. Chill.
00:26And then they're like liking butt selfies, you know, belfies at like 4 a.m.
00:32I just left a tongue emoji on that butt selfie she took to be like, wow, that's a really fit
00:39booty.
00:40As like personal trainer, I'd be proud.
00:43Or they're like, hey girl, you look so cute.
00:45And I'm like, why is that girl in your DM?
00:47I'm not that kind of guy.
00:49You're the only one for me.
00:52Retweet me.
00:53I wanted to talk more about social media and relationships.
00:56So I brought in my favorite comedian couple and a relationships expert.
01:02I'm here with Casey, Lisa, and Hailey.
01:05And we're talking about the effects of social media on relationships.
01:11Dun, dun, dun.
01:14We don't have the budget to do like sound effects.
01:16No, yeah, I do all my own sound effects.
01:19Yeah.
01:24All right, well let's get real though.
01:27Relationships on social media can be fun.
01:29But I feel like social media can also cause a lot of drama in relationships.
01:33Yeah.
01:33Do you guys say you have different personalities on social media than you have in real life?
01:37I try to be moderate with like not too much posts in general, but also not too many posts
01:41of like us together and not too many posts of just me, like a selfie, and not too many
01:47posts of just her.
01:48Like I don't think about it this much, but like, you know.
01:51It sounds like you think about it a lot.
01:52I think about it.
01:53Like you were like, I just posted a photo of my wife so I can't post for another two weeks.
01:57Right.
01:57And I'm like, one of those two weeks up, I need another photo.
02:01Um, I'm like the opposite.
02:03I feel like I have, I feel like you're too much on my Instagram.
02:06They had this thing at the end of the year where it was like an algorithm that like put
02:11your most liked photos.
02:13It was like not even of us together.
02:16It was like pictures I've posted of you.
02:18Everyone's like like, like, like, and I was like, oh.
02:20How much access to your social media do you think you should give a partner?
02:24I want her to have my passwords, aside from the fact that I trust her, I also, like,
02:29if I die, I want her to like get my Gmail.
02:31Update your Twitter.
02:32Yeah, update my, yeah.
02:33Tweet out, Casey died.
02:35I mean, yo, I died today.
02:36This sucks.
02:37Yo, I'm going to retweet that, I promise.
02:38I feel like there's no, yeah, like hard and fast rule with that.
02:42If you just think, why do you want it?
02:44Why do you need it?
02:45So you're talking about some very good reasons why you might want to share a password.
02:49If you're doing it just because you want to go through all of their old messages,
02:52every single one of them.
02:53I don't know, maybe, maybe you think about that.
02:55Maybe you think about the motivations, too.
02:57I mean it all.
02:58I want all the passwords.
03:00I want all the access.
03:02I just want it.
03:03I want to know.
03:04I just like 100% go through.
03:08But like it doesn't bother you then.
03:10Okay.
03:11Yeah, that's true.
03:11Does it bother you?
03:13Not really, no.
03:14Well, I would rather you do it in front of me than like if I like go to the bathroom
03:17or if I'm in the shower and you look through.
03:19That just seems suspicious.
03:20That was like very early in our relationship.
03:22That's true.
03:23I mean, I feel like I would be mad if someone did it, you know, and was trying to get
03:28some
03:28dirt on me and I hadn't given them any of my passwords.
03:31I'd be like, get the fuck out of there.
03:32This is funny now because I'm thinking I definitely sent you a dick pic once a long time ago.
03:37And like when you saw that, it was like we're comedians so we love sending dicks and I was
03:45like, here's a funny dick.
03:46And I think it was from like at the pit once we were talking about like dick pics and I
03:50was
03:50like, I'm going to send you a dick pic.
03:52I was like, oh, I wonder if Lisa Salaam was like, is Shannon trying to seduce my man with
03:56this dick?
03:56I was like, Shannon's got a nice dick.
04:00The one thing that I think we're guilty of that I'd like to get away from is like occasionally
04:05we'll both be in bed back to back looking at our phones.
04:09And you've seen like that image before and a lot of couples do that.
04:12And it's like, as it's happening, I'm like thinking of it and then like I'll try to like
04:15put my phone away and like kind of turn around and grab her, you know?
04:18And I think like that's the thing that I feel the most guilty about.
04:22So here on Report Guide we like to grade our topics.
04:25Okay.
04:25And so today we're going to be grading social media's effects on relationships.
04:31Okay, and these are our grades.
04:34A is follow back, which means like hell yeah.
04:37B is like.
04:39C is light stalking.
04:41D is unfollow.
04:43And F is block.
04:44All right, here are your chalkboards.
04:46The couple can share because you guys do everything together.
04:49And then turn over that nice little glass.
04:53This thing?
04:54And we'll, yeah.
04:55And that's how much time we have to keep up with our answer.
04:57I'm going to need a little bit longer.
04:59Okay.
05:00I have ADD so I actually get like tests.
05:02I'm allowed to have tests be longer.
05:04Yeah, we have a note from our student psychologist that says that we need more time for a standardized test.
05:09Yeah.
05:10This is a standardized.
05:11Oh, okay.
05:12This is just to do a thing on the chalkboard test.
05:15Oh, okay.
05:15I took a lot of Rilin before this, so.
05:36Oh, and we're just at time right now.
05:39I'm excited.
05:39Let's reveal our answers on one, two, three.
05:43Okay.
05:44Oh, we got two C's and a B.
05:47Yeah.
05:48Is yours a C minus?
05:49So we're on the positive end here.
05:50Yeah, you know what?
05:51I wanted to just give it a C because I feel like it's in the power of the couple to
05:55make it good or bad.
05:57Agreed.
05:57You know, it depends.
05:58It's like a weapon.
05:59Mm-hmm.
06:00So are you going to use it or not?
06:01Well, you know, there was a lot of grade inflation where I went to school, so I think we're kind
06:05of on the same page here.
06:06It's all about how you use it.
06:08If it's in a good couple, it could be good, and if it's in a bad couple, it could be
06:12bad.
06:13But yeah, I agree.
06:13I think we're all on the same page, you know?
06:15It depends.
06:16It's all about respect and honesty and keeping it light and fun and not letting social media run that shit.
06:23Yeah.
06:24Well, thank you for being here.
06:26Thank you for having us.
06:26Thanks for having us.
06:27This is so much fun.
06:27My pleasure.
06:28Yeah.
06:28This is so awesome.
06:29Let's all swap phones and snoop on each other.
06:32Yeah.
06:32Duh.
06:33Woo-hoo.
06:33Let's do it.
06:33I got nothing to hide, guys.
06:44I got nothing to hide, guys.
