00:00Meanwhile, Eugenio Suarez back on the Reds this season, 12 home runs, 36 runs driven in,
00:06and that batting average is finally at 210. Not something you usually see from him. It's like
00:11180, 190. Look, Suarez, Tom, is on the back nine. And if you trade for somebody like this,
00:18what are you thinking? You're thinking, can we catch lightning in a bottle? Can this guy put
00:21together like a month of really strong baseball? Because it's really a boom or bust type player,
00:27but nothing to lose here. And he plays a pretty solid defense. So I expect him to be on another
00:31team on August 3rd. I would expect the same. And ultimately, if they could platoon him with
00:39someone at third base, so he doesn't have to be an everyday player, he can come off the bench during
00:44the postseason and be a solid, threatening bat to hit home run. I think that is the kind of ideal
00:50situation where he can hit further down in the lineup, could use him as a pinch hitter, but he
00:54should absolutely be on a different team come August 5th.
