00:00A lot can happen in a week.
00:02Maybe last week, we'll say, hey, man, look at these Cincinnati Reds.
00:04They have a chance to challenge for the division lead.
00:06Maybe they can chase down the Chicago Cubs.
00:08Then we meet up today on May 10th and say, well, how did the Reds do at least in their
00:11last 10 games?
00:12I don't know.
00:13Two and eight overall, even though they did pick up a win on Saturday.
00:16But if you would have told me, Craig, we're sitting here in May, 21-19,
00:20they're probably in maybe second place, third place in that division.
00:23We're actually in last place right now in the division because everybody is above 500.
00:26And even though the Reds are, they're at 21-19, Craig.
00:29Like, what happened over this past week and a half here with those Reds?
00:33Yeah, a confluence of events.
00:35It seems like the pitching completely went south outside of Chase Burns.
00:39It's just, it's been a disaster for them.
00:42And it's surprising because they got off to such a nice start.
00:44I thought they had a good rotation.
00:46So, look, it just may be, Donnie, that they ran into the Cubs.
00:50I mean, that certainly is possible.
00:52And it's a plausible answer.
00:53If the Cubs end up winning 95 games, we'll look back and say that was the time where the Reds
00:57struggles as they played the best team in the division.
01:00But the bigger point that you made is that they're over 500 and they're still in last.
01:04So, I'll stay on the Reds and think that they could get it turned around.
01:08But if you ask me what's going on there, yeah, it's obviously the pitching.
01:11And the fact that the Cubs shut them down.
01:14And Houston, thus far, they're pitching.
01:16Burroughs, in particular, did a really good job against them this weekend.
01:18But I think the Reds will be okay.
01:20I think the Reds will be okay.
