00:00The White Sox certainly have had this wild streak of several players having five home runs or more
00:07consecutively. Three different players this season. That is incredible. Miguel Vargas is having a
00:12season to remember that this is like the lone player it seems like the Dodgers gave up that
00:16actually turned out to be good. It feels like every trade they made they didn't get up they
00:21didn't give up anybody to get anyone but they did here Tom. Miguel Vargas uh it took him a couple
00:26years but he nailed it. 855 OPS 29 home runs 76 runs batted in. The White Sox combo at the
00:36top makes
00:37them very dangerous down the stretch with Vargas and Murakami and Montgomery and then the next guy
00:42we'll talk about in Peters as well. Yeah really great stuff from the White Sox as of later especially
00:49with the Guardians who are super hot they kind of cooled off you know the Twins were not a team
00:53that
00:53you and I believed and they've kind of taken a step back and the White Sox are really jumping
00:57at this opportunity to take control of the AL Central which has just been a complete mess over
01:02many months at this point and it's really being powered by some really timely hitting and the
01:07White Sox went through really high peaks in May and then went through some lulls and now they're kind
01:12of finding their balance right now and you know what Murakami provides the top of the line with Vargas
01:17having the year he has behind him and then with some of those other guys the two Montgomery's which is
01:21great. The White Sox are in the spots to win the division they've had a great year no matter how
01:25it ends it's been fantastic for them. Could be an all-time October for Chicago Cubs and White Sox both
01:32maybe playing the first week in the postseason and I would guess they'd alternate days I mean
01:37they certainly couldn't put the Cubs and White Sox both playing at the same time in the first week
01:41at the postseason. We're on the verge of that happening.
