00:00I am continually amazed by seeing God's goodness in my life.
00:02This spring, I had a long list of perennials that I wanted to add to our yard.
00:06Fruits and flowers, ground cover, and just some beautiful things to add into our life.
00:10But I found an online nursery, and I put together a big order.
00:13Like, many hundred dollars.
00:15And just before I hit purchase, I decided to see if there was anybody locally who had plants that they
00:19would be willing to split for me.
00:21And this is where God showed up.
00:22A random local lady filled the back of my car with beautiful perennial plants for me.
00:26Irises, lilies, hostas, and a whole bunch of beautiful ground cover.
00:30My neighbor gave me the perfect number of cuttings from their Frasinthea plant to fill in the areas that I
00:34wanted them to go.
00:35And a friend from church gave me three huge, beautiful lilac bushes that are probably even going to bloom this
00:40year.
00:41And so my order ended up just being one rosebush and three grapevines to replace ones that died last year.
00:47And as I spent the last few weeks planting these areas and working on this stone path right through them,
00:52I've been recognizing that I am continually surrounded by God's goodness.
00:55That yes, sometimes he shows up in life-saving, miraculous ways,
00:59but sometimes he shows up in friends and community blessing you with plants.
01:04All this to say, God sees your heart.
01:05He sees the little things that you desire and the little things that will bring you joy.
01:09And he doesn't just love you and have a heart to take care of you physically,
01:12a roof over your head, food on your table, etc.
01:15But he will also love on you in the form of pretty plants.
