00:00Let's talk about electrolytes, why they're important, why you need them, and some things
00:03that you may not know.
00:04When I say electrolytes, mostly I mean vitamins, minerals, nutrients.
00:07Your body runs off of minerals and vitamins and them being in their correct balance.
00:12It's vitamin A, B, D, K, zinc, magnesium, copper.
00:16All of those things are essential for your body to run, meaning like breathe, have energy,
00:21digest food, et cetera.
00:22And if you don't have the correct balances of those minerals and nutrients, you are going
00:26to feel it.
00:26You're going to feel like crap.
00:27I will share the symptoms of mineral deficiency because most people don't realize that they're
00:32mineral deficient.
00:32They think they've got all these issues, but really your body just needs some extra minerals.
00:36When you are hot, when you sweat, or when your body just functions as normal, you are losing
00:41and using electrolytes, minerals, and vitamins, but you need to replenish those.
00:46You can't just endlessly be getting rid of them.
00:48You need to be still hydrating, consuming liquids, but you need to make sure that there are minerals
00:53in them so that you are refueling and replenishing those mineral and vitamin levels in your body
00:59so your body can therefore thrive.
01:01So what does this look like?
01:02Instead of just drinking plain water or coffee, drink juice or teas or bone broth.
01:08Add salt and lemon juice, maple sugar, electrolytes to your water.
01:12Raw milk.
01:13Be consuming something that is more than just plain water.
01:15Plain water is not bad.
01:16Do not mostly consume water, especially when you are sweating or working extra hard.
01:22You can make your own electrolytes or you can buy them pre-made.
01:25Message me the word hydrate and I will get you all of it.
