00:00Let's talk about how I do postpartum meal prep.
00:01As a homesteading, work-from-home mom of two,
00:03I don't have a ton of time to do these huge postpartum meal prep days.
00:06But postpartum nutrition and nourishment matter so, so much to me.
00:10It is crucial to healing.
00:11So here's my trick.
00:12Each week when I do my meal prep for the week,
00:14I make one extra item intentionally for postpartum and I stick it in the freezer.
00:17As baby gets closer, I'll make a list of really intentional items that I want to have on hand
00:21and I'll sort of incorporating one or two of those into my week for meal prep.
00:24But for the most part, I just pick an easy meal, I make it extra each week,
00:27and I put it away for later.
00:28This way I can ensure me and my family will be well-nourished postpartum,
00:32but I'm not overwhelming my time, myself, or my budget.
