Drunken Tourists Create Chaos at Mussoorie Police Post, Abuse Cops, Spit at Officers

A late-night disturbance on Mussoorie's Mall Road has gone viral after a group of four tourists from Delhi allegedly created chaos, both on the street and inside the Library Police Post.

According to police, the incident occurred between 3 am and 4 am on Sunday after one of the women, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, began creating a public disturbance. Police brought the group to the police post, where the situation allegedly escalated. Reports claim the women abused police personnel, entered the inspector's cabin, locked it from inside, kicked the door, and one of them allegedly spat at police officers. The woman also allegedly misbehaved with passersby and was seen hitting her companion with a slipper outside the police station.

Police said the group later apologised in writing and, after counselling, was released and returned to Delhi. The viral videos have triggered criticism on social media, with many questioning why no criminal case was registered despite allegations of public nuisance and misbehaviour with police personnel.
