00:00Today we are going to visit one of the most awesome places in the whole world
00:04Machu Picchu
00:15Right now we're waiting for our train. It's the only way to get there. There's no roads leading to Machu
00:21Picchu
00:21You can only get there by train or by walking. The amount of people who are allowed to go into
00:27Machu Picchu
00:27Every day is around a thousand people so it's very restricted. They don't want to have any over tourism. There's
00:34our train coming
00:40Here we go
00:56We've reached Aguascaliente, the village closest to Machu Picchu
01:01We're gonna stay the night here and going to climb Machu Picchu in the morning
01:06because we only have a ticket allowing us to enter at 8 o'clock in the morning
01:12So let's see what we can do here in this village
01:19Oh, I've been officially to Machu Picchu
01:29Even though we're just going tomorrow
01:31So I haven't actually been there
01:33But when you enter Peru, you don't get a stamp in your passport
01:37So you can get one at least here
01:40All over Peru, there's this weird demon dogs
01:50Look at that
01:51They're everywhere
01:55He's going to touch the demon dog
01:57He's going to touch the demon dog
01:58He's going to touch the demon dog
01:59Touch
02:00Touch
02:01Touch
02:01Such a pussy he didn't do it
02:04Aguascaliente is obviously the most touristy place in all of Peru
02:08Such concentration of tourists here
02:10This village exists only because of the tourism
02:13I don't think it existed before
02:20He touched it
02:21He touched it
02:22He touched it
02:23He touched it
02:28All right
02:28It's the next day
02:29It's 7 a.m. in the morning
02:31And we are finally on the way to Machu Picchu
02:35Let's catch the bus
02:42We came up here with the bus
02:44It took like 20 minutes
02:46It came from down there where the river is
02:50It looks very steep
02:51Probably more than 500 meters
02:53We are doing the red circuit
02:57It's apparently the best one
03:28It's very easy to see why this is one of the most touristy places
03:36On the whole planet
03:38Where in the world do you get a view like that?
03:45And to honor the Incas who built this magnificent city
03:49We are going to eat some coca-lis
03:55This right there is the main entrance to the city
03:58And outside all these terraces were used for agriculture
04:03And the Incas cultivated here mainly corn, coca leaves and potatoes
04:10Pretty convenient to have all the food just grow outside your house
04:24Right now we are at the main square of Machu Picchu
04:28There are two temples and the priest's house
04:30And this here in front of the priest's house is the altar where they sacrificed whatever they sacrificed
04:38And that's how the Incas built their buildings in this style
04:42Stones
04:43They have no spaces in between
04:46They have no spaces in between
04:47That's their Incas specialty
04:49Not using cement but carving the stone so it fits perfectly to the next one
04:55Very impressive
04:56And over there is the spot where everybody is taking those legendary photos
05:15And that you can see that the hike is not hard at all
05:19It's not really a hike
05:20Just a relaxed walk
05:21This is it guys
05:23Let's take a selfie
05:27Okay we did the selfie now we can go
05:38Let's take a selfie
